    "Fall Of The Peacemakers"
    A king without a sword
    A land without a king
    A truth without a voice
    One song left to sing
    One song to sing
A wise man told me there's something you should know
The way you judge a man is to look into his soul
    And you'll soon see everything.
A voice from the past cried "Give peace a chance"
He paid our price now he's free at last
Imagine, we called him a dreamer!
How many times must good men die?
How many tears will the children cry?
'Til they suffer no more sadness
    Stop the madness,
    Oh, stop the madness.
If ashes are ashes and dust is dust
At our journey's end then return we must
To the sands of the shore
    White doves in flight
    Peace to all
But tell me why the peacemakers fall
    Must we bury anymore?
The hush of the crowd as the horse rode by
A black lace veil hid the tears from her eyes
And we all wept in silence
How many times must good men die?
How many times will the children cry?
'Til they suffer no more sadness
    Oh, stop the madness
    Oh, stop all the madness.

@@ricklittle4617 I truly miss those days. I had just moved from New Windsor, New York and was bummed to leave behind some really cool friends. Then I moved to a neighborhood that had a ton of rock and roll loving kids. We saw so many epic concerts back then. My first concert was Blue Oyster Cult in Poughkeepsie, New York. I actually saw a great band that didn’t get a lot of national attention called Stranger Band. Greg Allman sat in on keyboards and did a bunch of Allman Bros songs with them. They also played their songs and Greg kicked ass on both! Those were the days. I don’t get today’s music at all!

I woke up this morning with music on my mind. Singing and dancing, and I have 7 diseases that should stop me from wanting to do that ! Especially at 56 years old !
But I have this in my heart and soul ! Just like all of you out there still rocking in the free world ! These little dudes today don't have a clue how we lived, how and why we were rocking all the time ! Long live rock and roll !
Hats off to those of you with kids, that you taught them about our jams !

Danny was always great sharing the spotlight with other band members and calling out their names. I saw them live on this tour I believe. No giant screen flashing images, no lasers, no light show, but DJB had such charisma you didn’t need any spectacle. Always was smiling, giving all his energy even when he was struggling with health issues. Same energy no matter the size of the venue. Is there really anymore southern rock bands? Miss that sound. I saw them in my teens, I’m 56 now yet I remember this show.

I saw Dave 20 (+/-) years ago touring with the Dixie All-Stars. He could have learned a lot from Jackson Spires (ex Blackfoot drummer) about how to treat your fans. Jackson was very welcoming after the show. Dave, on the other hand..not so much. I get it...I'm sure he is swarmed with fans after every show however, if it weren't for the fans buying the music, Dave wouldn't have been where he was. I asked him to sign a Molly Hatchet CD that I had brought to the show. He refused to sign it unless I bought one of their $30 t-shirts. I bought a shirt and every one of the band members signed it other than Hlubeck. Jackson even gave me a signed drum stick, and a leather, native American, wrist strap that he made and sold after their shows.
