I had an old Recon sitting around and I noticed that the positions of the screw holes of the very short Stryfe-style N-strike stock lug and the Recon "buffer tube" style lug were almost exactly the same. So I swapped them out and re-attached my Raider stock and like magic the wiggle was almost completely gone. My wife's Jyn Erso (the Cassian without all the bells and whistles) got a similar stock from the Nerf Super Soaker line, but I did not have another Recon stock lug to swap in, and there is a noticeable difference between the two now, in how firm my stock is as opposed to hers. The far less likely scenario: Hasbro removes its head from the rear end of its digestive tract, faces the music, realize how much of a flop Elite 2.0 is, and how the brands making up Adventure Force are literally offering better, higher quality products at a lower price, followed by, if they have any sense at all, releasing Elite 2.1, which, while it would likely follow the same aesthetic as Elite 2.0, would go back to making the blasters more reliable internally and easier to open on account of right to repair, thus making it easier to mod, making the Phoenix a valid platform for a Stryfle type build, even if the aesthetics of the whole thing may need to be redone.
