Here are the violin etude books I played from:
Wohlfahrt op 45 no 4 amzn.to/3kXCl2I
Mazas op 36 no 45 amzn.to/3aDtXQw
Fiorillo no 20 amzn.to/3yYZtTH
Kreutzer no 35 amzn.to/3yPGw5J
Rode no 21 amzn.to/3n6ZnH3
Dont op 35 no 18 amzn.to/3tqzFhV
Paganini op 1 no 24 amzn.to/3tweeMF
I see why it’s called Dont…
Haha, yes, indeed!
I'm currently working through Mazas and Kreutzer!! I really enjoy them!! Love seeing what to work on after I finish them!
Respect for those years of practice and pain, respect for all your moments when you force yourself and practice practice and practice .
You have a beautifull sound madame . Beautyfull, yes i know the violin is good but your sound is coming from those hands and soul. God bless you madame .
Rode caprices, beautiful and useful. Plus with excellent tutorials by Kerson Leong in his The Art of Etude on youtube.
Thank you for pointing them out. Here’s the link for those who are interested: th-cam.com/play/PLLCaqhPdd14giFBSE9a0Zd3lZ05d38Mw3.html
Good to know iv already achieved clarity.
Great playing!!! I was expecting suaret or Ernst at the end, but Paganini is probably the hardest a sane person should go. That Dont sounded demonic!
Thanks! Yeah, Don't is difficult without being as satisfying as other difficult stuff like Paganini, Wieniawski Ernst etc.
Very good sound Madame , very good sound . Thank you .
Very well done aswell! Hope u best of luck!!!🤗
Thank you! You too!
Kreutzer is the best book
How many years its taking to go throw all if them?i wonder
Hi! do you think a "collection of etudes series" can be an alternative to the standard books? i mean something like Seybold etude collection, or Crickboom collection, william Helm collection, etc.?
all of them have at least 10 books from beginner to paganini and beyond, and they are very well done, with works from all the greatest, in a real progressive manner (not in a pseudo-progressive like the standar books, where an early etude sometimes is harder than subsequent ones) and it avoids the issue with the standard etudes route: when finishing a book from an author the etude is harder than the next author book's first etudes! i'm doing wohlfardt op.45 right now, but i'm seriously considering jumping to a collection so i can just focus on the order of etudes without trying to guess where i go next! what are your thoughs on this?
Yes, it can work great. The reason I work with the standard etude books is because I hand pick them for my students depending on what challenges they have and what repertoire they learn, but indeed it requires a teacher to figure all that out.
Yeah...Dont...some of it is fun but it's mostly torture
Goodness, I remember Dont from my early days, and how much I hated his work😂Honestly, I usually rely on Kreutzer for warm up work, but right now my main point of focus is the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto!
Wonderful!
Then there is lecole de moderne..: 😭😭😭
🧡
I’m practicing ocean etude chopin on piano
i hate playing etudes with everything in me 😭😭
Can a grade2 play these etude
Is Kayser harder than wolfhart
Depends which etude you compare to which, but Wohlfahrt has a lower starting level for the first couple of etudes.
Which etude do you recommend?
That totally depends on your level and what aspect of your playing you'd like to improve. Read a little more here: violinlounge.com/7-levels-of-violin-etudes/
Where would you rate Dont 1 Op.35?
I’d say around Kreutzer depending on which of the etudes you compare.
Can wohlfarhrt violin be both beginner through intermediate studies?????
Yes, there are 60 etudes and many ways to study them.
How to tutorial play Etude for Beginner ?
There are beginner etudes in this playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLVBTuGvv2_iZG13XSIXJPLGSWENu6pn3s.html

@@violinlounge I didn't, for me 24 is the most difficult.
