Lyrics: Look out! Here they come! The gods of destruction! It’s all we can do to keep them at bay! DRAGON! DRAGON! Look out! Here they come! The gods of destruction! Don’t hesitate to blow them all away! DRAGON! DRAGON! A towering shadow… darkness grows from an evil seed Our energy is low… but there’s just one person that this world needs You… But don’t think that you stand alone! This is our planet too! Our energy… we’re sending it all to you!!! *Everything and everyone… has great power to give Everything and everyone… deserves a chance to live Their dreams take root within you… Look out! Here they are! The gods of destruction! All we can do now is trust you and pray! DRAGON! DRAGON! Look out! Here they are! The gods of destruction! Don’t hesitate to blow them all away! DRAGON! DRAGON! Enemies invading… show them what you can really do But your strength is fading… it’s finally time for us to stand up and help you We… No, we’re not letting you stand alone! This green world is ours too! Our hopes and dreams… we’re sending them all to you!!! **Everything and everyone… will help you turn the tide Everything and everyone… will stand right by your side Their dreams now bloom within you… Look out! Here they come! The gods of destruction! It’s all we can do to keep them at bay! DRAGON! DRAGON! You carry our hopes and dreams, selflessly… they make your body and soul glow Now we want to stand up too, and help this world grow!!! * **
I loved that in the ending everything seemengly returned to normal, as if Turles had never arrived on earth... that, along with this cheery song, felt like a big middle finger to him and his big schemes.
When the song labels Turles as a God of destruction because of all the terrible things he's done and the fruit he has eaten shows you how "strong" somebody else could be besides Goku. Props to old DBZ!
Of course Dragon Ball Super introduces actual Gods of Destruction with names themed on booze. Such as Lord Beerus and his twin brother Champa. And Goku did also clash with an in-anime series clone: Goku Black. Which was really Zamasu who stole his body in that future timeline.
@@elvinr6207not really at all lmao, power scaling is absurd. turles was so powerful at time they called him gof of destruction. god of destruction wasn't thought of untill 2010s
Thank you for this song and lyrics. We might not all have "gods of destruction" to fight with our fists, but we all have obstacles in life and these lyrics help us go through them all and reach our peace.
If you think about it, this song can literally be interpreted into of Dragon Ball Super and fit just fine *More specifically, its first and last arc.* (T.O.P & G.O.D)
I say this is just coincidence. No way Toriyama would remember everything thats from years ago. Every Dragon Ball fan should know since the majority of characters are long forgotten from there.
@@Jim-pq9pm yeah if the still make Hironobu kageyama in DB.. No kageyama no dragon ball song! But I like "ore ga yaranakya dare ga yaru" and "Hero kimi ga Hiro" more than other
This song makes me think of Getter Robo G if they keep shouting out 'Dragon!' like that. Might as well shout out 'GETTER DRAGON!' while I'm at it. Funny considering Hironobu Kageyama sings the second opening to Shin Getter Robo and a remix to the classic Getter Robo opening. I ain't joking with the last one.
Why do random anime songs with lore-relevant lyrics have more soul than all of the music to come out in the last twenty years combined? Last good "real" music album to come out was Deloused in the Comatorium. To be fair that was a masterpiece but this decade has nothing worth mentioning.
@@shadowofbosstown Extremely true and very concerning! You see this in peoples mannerism and the way they go about life so often! I can only hope it doesn’t create disfunction in their lives.
Yeah but BoG and RoF aren't in the film timeline like Turles and Z-Broly. They are mainline Z events. As we know the film dimension has an evil counterpart to the good-natured canon Broly; so it's possible that the Beerus of the film dimension/timeline is a ruthless villain. Maybe film timeline Beerus is a plotting specter of evil that manipulated the film timeline so Goku would have more opponents and thus become the rival he dreamt of. What if film timeline Beerus' meddling is why Goku & Piccolo fought Garlic Jr. before Raditz; why Goku survived the Raditz fight; why Tenshinhan, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu survived the Nappa & Vegeta fight to battle Turles, but died before Lord Slug invaded Earth, etc. A slightly different chain of events could explain how three different Cell tier villains could appear in the 11 or so days before the Cell Games. Maybe Goku took the antidote early and never got sick, which gave them time to relax instead of being squished between android battles. And yes I consider Super Android 13 to be "Cell tier" --- he's in the Imperfect Cell ballpark at least. XD Bojack Perfect tier and Broly Super Perfect++ tier.

Wait...did this song predict Battle of Gods?
@@axo-infinity2217 No, at this time in the anime enemies with the power level near Tullece's were considered Gods Of Destruction.
@@Henry-6024e Eh yeah I kinda did overreact. But it may be funny to think about that this inspired Battle of God's a bit.

Sucks for me because turles is my all time favorite

Turles was like a prototype Goku Black.
I like how this song is from the z-fighters and addressed to goku
Definitely a song of hope
Also early reference to god of destructions

I would love to see a full length video of the entire DB cast dancing and goofing around to this song
Kinda like a High-School musical ending, where they just start dancing as goofy as possible during the credits lmao.
were they just referecing that goku at some point will go head to head with every single god of destruction?
If you think about it, this song can literally be interpreted into of Dragon Ball Super and fit just fine

They used the “God of Destruction” a lot before Dragon Ball Super.
Bold of you to assume that akria even thought ahead all the way to super from the freeza ark, let alone trunks
I say this is just coincidence. No way Toriyama would remember everything thats from years ago.

I think Cell was called a 'god of destruction' in one of the DBZ episode titles.
Best dbz movie graphic quality.. Second wrath of dragon and third Bojack unbound..
World stronger is great graphic too
But do they have a song as good as this?
