Good video thanks . It gave me the confidence to change my own front wing. Much easier when you remove the wheel though . Watch out for the two screw attached to a bumper section. They nearly caught me out & can just about be removed from under the wheel arch liner.

Great video series. BTW, you need to remove the rear wheel arch liners and check for rust both in the arch and on the sill end panel. Mk3's are notorious for this. If it's not too bad, clean off and neutralise the rust, then 3 coats of hammerite and a final coat of black waxoyl should sort it. Same goes for underneath the rear bumper mounts.

Only just caught up with your MX-5 series - good to see the car getting some TLC. As a fully paid up MX-5 'buff' I can tell you that the door handles differ because higher spec models had a chrome insert in the handle (like your replacement door) while lower spec models didn't - hence the recess where it would go. Probably harder to see on Sunlight Silver than on darker colours.
Incidentally the MZR engine was designed by Mazda not Ford - but as Ford had a large shareholding in Mazda at the time they adopted it as the Duratec for their models. Unlike the 2.0, the 1.8 does not have VVT and produces 126bhp in standard tune.
