    Dear Edzest, I owe you big thanks! Since watching your videos, I understand how to read and answer questions in the PMP exam, and I passed with over ATs :) Your questions are even tougher than those in the PMP, but they prepare candidates like a soldier ready for all kinds of tricky questions. Thank you so much for your effort, time, and the videos! Good luck everyone, keep going, if you study enough, you will pass :)

    Questions 3: Mention of Jira is not there that you used the tool to get the predictions tool-based. The reason for not taking up the option C, as per the PMBOK (PMI), the story points are assigned by the project team and basis on the velocity team is being assigned the work, thereby maintaining the productivity. However, while team is unable to deliver the work on time, then chances are there, story points assignment itself is not correct, as probably the feature is more complex then what was measured by the project team. Which indicates that the team needs to have further clarifications / details of each feature in order to assign more accurate story points. So better choice is ELABORATE and UNDERSTAND your work better to be more accurate in forecasting the timeline. Option C is next best option if option A is missing.

    Hi Amit,
    I just want to thank you and Edzest for your fantastic training on all of the PMP criteria. I just passed my exam over the weekend after taking it two times in 6 months. The first time I used the PMBOK guide, some of the "top-rated" study guides, and some Udemy videos, which were of great help, but did not prepare me for what the exam questions would really be like. When I found your videos as I was preparing to take the test the second time I immediately knew what I was missing. You really have a great way of communicating and teaching the information to prepare students for the reality of the PMP exam. Thank you again!
    Steven

      Congratulations on your success and thank you so much for taking out time to let me know about the same here.
      I'm glad that I was able to provide you with the real picture of the exam. That's one of the reasons why I started with the training.

    Thank you sir. Next video please. I am enjoying you breakdown of question. I can now see what they are asking for and not my assumption. Also, how half of the answers make sense but the other part does not correlate or resolve the question ask.

    As for Q4.
    I thought we can use Fishbowl window, whenever we have a geographically dispersed team, which will help them to to create effective collaboration. However, no where in the question it says, the team and supplier are in different location. For that reason, I thought option A is better option in my view.
    Thanks

    • @edzest
      @edzest  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi, yes, you're right the question doesn't mention different location but if you chose Kanban you're not choosing a solution that question is looking for, which is to improve interactions. Kanban will help in understanding the flow of work, but need not necessarily improve the communication.
      My point is that if the team is facing problem with communication, provide tools/solutions to improve communication rather than tools to improve workflow.
      Hope I'm able to clarify. 🙏😊

    Dear Amit..In Q # 05 I have one concern that in option 2 .. statement is meet with stakeholder to build common understanding on work prioritization.. why PM meets where is the PO?.

    • @edzest
      @edzest  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, if there are two choices one with PM and another with PO, then, in comparison, PO wins.
      But since it's not discussed in this question, we go with what we have. PM is also responsible for building shared understanding- one of the tasks in ECO people domain.
      PO is specific to backlog prioritisation.

    I don't understand why for Q 5 you don't just simply just say the reason it's not C is because it states that it's Agile, sprint review is Agile so you would not use a change request process. Albeit, that's good mention of the Agile manifesto principles but i thought it was simpler just by looking at the passage.

    • @edzest
      @edzest  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I understand your point :)
      I try to explain it in ways that makes it logical to answer questions, rather than dependent on memory.
      While I have not gone back to this specific question, in general, while solving questions, sprint review alone might not mean an agile project, it may be hybrid with requirements of change requests process.
      I believe, keeping the mind open and answering based on project management principles is a better way of preparing for exam and also for applying in real life projects.

    • @sandcastlesp
      @sandcastlesp 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      good point w the hybrid. appreciate it. initially i didn't like some of the questions but i did eventually like how you structured these questions, then added extra info and topic relating to it to help solve. appreciate it@@edzest
