    Hi Amit, but in Question 4 we are revising the contract with requirement which may be align with project objectives...
    D option shall be suitable rather terminating the contract

    • @edzest
      @edzest  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Ashish, what we are changing is important. Revising the contract is better but revising the "requirements of the contract" means nothing but changing the SOW/TOR, hence we have not selected that as a choice.

    I have a query wrt the 4th question.... between incentives and awards, which one is more motivating for the supplier incase of a work which is slightly challenging? My answer is the Incentives but want to know your opinion.. I came across a practce question based on this scenario..

    • @edzest
      @edzest  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, there is no general answer to this question. Incentives or awards in itself can not be said to be more motivating than the other. It depends on the kind of supplier and the terms of contract in that particular project to decide if incentives will be better or awards.

    During project execution, a project manager is informed that
    critical resources will soon be removed from the project. What
    should the project manager do?
    a. Schedule a meeting to keep the stakeholders informed.
    b. Inform the stakeholders at the next scheduled review meeting.
    c. Update the risk register with this risk to project resources.
    d. Request resource leveling.
    Kindly advise

    • @edzest
      @edzest  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, none of the options appear a great choice but to choose between those- option A appears the best, since not one but several critical resources will be removed.
      B. Review meetings are not for updating resources information - update asap.
      C. It is not a risk because risk is uncertain, resources WILL be removed, makes it an issue.
      D. Purpose of resources levelling is to optimize the number of resource- it can be done but without analysis we shouldn't take this decision.

      Hi Amit , I have doubt on another question as well
      A team is working on a new product development project using a
      hybrid approach. After the fourth sprint, they learn that the exchange
      rate for imported goods will increase significantly.
      What should the project manager do in order to make sure the final
      product gets launched on time and as defined?
      A. Work with the stakeholders to develop incremental budgeting approaches.
      B. Reduce the product’s specifications to use less imported material.
      C. Spend the extra money and plan to compensate for it in the next sprint.
      D. Review the backlog to see the impact of a budget increase.

      @@lincysebastian611 Hi, D looks better. Other options are action points/decision that aren't justified so we don't know whether those would definitely help in completing on time.

    please what is the differente between request for quotation and request for bid?

    • @edzest
      @edzest  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Felix,
      Request for bid is a category of requests where you ask the suppliers to bid for the project.
      These requests can be of three types, in general, depending on what are you requesting from suppliers:
      Request for Information (information only), Request for Quotation (price only), and Request for proposal (price and solution).
