I just noticed the “lyrics” between Deep Cut’s Calamari and the Squid Sister’s are different. Which sort of makes me theorize Splatsville being a different region and thus having a dialect of the known language. So shiver and Frye sang the Splatlands dialect and Calle and Marie sang the old lyrics we know and love from Inkopolis

I don't think Splatoon 3 even takes place in Japan. By using the Sunken Scrolls, makes it seem like it's more Western or European. Especially with the Eiffel Tower being there. Their gibberish doesn't sound like Japanese or even English gibberish. But more like a European language type gibberish because of the phonetics they use
My favorite part was definitely seeing how much fun the squid sisters were having,they’ve done calamari inkantation so many times it’s so fun for them to preform.I’m sure just seeing deep cut enjoy themselves all concert was enough for them

The thing with pokémon, wich in first place is not even a Nintendo property, is that there is not enough characters with many songs to hold a full concert. There are gym leader singers in the games but they don't have proper "vocal" songs to perform in the stage :/ They could do something with other franchises like Mario with Pauline singing "Jump Up Super-Star" or Zelda singing "Zelda's Lullaby" but then again those are not enough songs for a full concert. (Sorry if my english is bad)

I’m so happy that I got to see the concert live and there was much to take in that I don’t know where to begin. Deep Cut put on an amazing performance and they were being so cute and expressive when they were singing together! 💙💛🤍 The grand finale with the Squid Sisters and Deep Cut singing the Calamari Inkantation made me tear up happily and it was amazing getting to experience this moment. ^^

So, Yume's reaction was similar to mine, but crazier cause I had to calm myself from going crazy the first time I watched. Didn't want the neighbors to hear shouting out of nowhere.
I cannot tell how much joy is too see the splatoon concerts live again, is been a long time, but damn was so good. Also I notice that they really improve a lot the movements of the 3D characters, it seems that they are using Real Time mocap for how it looks, because the movement feel so natural now, it was actually pretty impressive. Also Shiver Team FTW!

The updated models for Callie and Marie were really something, they were so much higher quality. Something I noted was that Callie and Marie's voices are very distinct even when all of them are singing at once. I don't know what the proper terminology is but they seem to have this extra oomph.

I saw the stream for the concert and it was absolutely incredible. Deep Cut was so expressive and Shiver’s kakagoe was so cute. And the Squid Sisters showing up at the end was so gosh dang amazing. Frye was overall purely energetic, and we love that for her. Also agreed, put her and Pearl in a room together, they would pop off to no end. Even if just for that wave at the end, Big Man deserves all the love in the world. But can we talk about how Shiver just popped off for the most part, and how cute she was when she was doing kakegoe (or however the traditional japanese crowd hyping thing is called)? Like, no crumb left. And of course the Squid Sisters girlbossed perfectly, as they should.😌💅
