I think the reason why we get so many subpar sequals, reboots, and remasters is cuz hollywood genuinely forgot what good storytelling is. Everytime a completely new ip comes out, it almost certainly flops tremendously. At least old media has a built in audience so any kind of reboot or remaster is going to usually do at least decent in the box office.
On adaptations, if they can't get the most basic details right, then of course they can't get anything right. And the colors are about as basic as it gets.

Before Disney bought Lucasfilm, I don't think viewership would've mattered, only the storylines that it made. This show is bigger than people think... Interesting and refreshing stance, I personally swap between the Ubersaw, Solemn Vow, and Amputator depending on what I feel is most useful at that current moment. Medic doesn't (and shouldn't) get too much use out of his melees so having a solution in your back pocket for a certain niche situation like those three melee weapons is enough to qualify it in my eyes.

I can promise the exact same thing happened with Star wars: The Clone Wars due to it being part of the prequel trilogy. Before Disney bought Lucasfilm, I don't think viewership would've mattered, only the storylines that it made. This show is bigger than people think... It doesn't have ties to any other current star wars media beyond games like Knights of the Old Republic, and it's the only star wars show we have that takes place in that era, and it did it REALLY well...

Interesting and refreshing stance, I personally swap between the Ubersaw, Solemn Vow, and Amputator depending on what I feel is most useful at that current moment.
Medic doesn't (and shouldn't) get too much use out of his melees so having a solution in your back pocket for a certain niche situation like those three melee weapons is enough to qualify it in my eyes.
