I just got promoted with Barnet in League Two after dominating Vanarama with a 41212 Fluid Counter, where most of the teams used a 352/343. But now I'm really struggling with most of the teams using 42M31. Seems they managing to nullified every scoring opportunity we try to create. In defense we're still really solid (5 games without conceding as of now) but when in possession.. oh boy. We can't do anything. I'll try to follow your advice, tweaking my 41212 on what you showed with yours.
I'm sorry to hear that my friend. You can try and analyse what is going wrong when using these tactics and make some small adjustments to better fit your team's needs. And even if everything is calibrated, sometimes the difference in quality between two teams is big enough that no amount tactical insight will prevent a loss coming your way. The most important is to keep tweaking, and keep evolving!
@@coachroan wow. I didn't actually think you'd reply. Sorry for my harsh comment. It was probably my bad since I didn't analyze the opposing players and copied those tactics in a rage, so.. sorry for both my comment and blaming it on you..
@@Egerotti11034 no worries buddy! I think we can all get a bit frustrated if results don't go our way on FM, I for sure do! An online tactic will never fully fit your exact team, so when looking online for tactics it's always a good idea to make some small adjustments to better suit your own team. It's what makes this game so varied and amazing! And if you have any specific questions for your team, I'd be happy to help.
i'm using a 424 i made , one of my forwards has scored 41 league goals (cinch premiership) and a winger has scored 16 assists starting from the goalkeeper up to the forwards: sk-de , wb-su, cd-de , dlp-su and rpm-su (both in midfield), w-su , af-at , cf-at shorter passing, pass into space, play out of defence, hit early crosses, low crosses, focus play down the left/right ,overlap left/right ,higher tempo roll it out, distribute to centre-backs, distribute to full-backs, distribute quickly, counter high press much more often , positive
Sounds like one hell of a tactic, certainly one that would do well against a 4231! And with a striker netting you 41 goals, I think there's plenty of evidence that this is a great tactic! I am curious, who is the striker that got you 41 goals? Sounds like a real talent!

@@kajianislamina looking around for some great 41212 tactics, I personally love the look of the 41212 badel on FM Base. The major thing I noticed is that using defensive wide midfielders seems to be crucial in this years game for an effective 41212
I really like your videos. I would love to see a video on how to create more, and better chances when playing a 4231 (2 CM's not DM's) against teams that sit really deep and space is extremely limited. Any thoughts?
Love your straight forward approach coach! Helps an old cm01/02 player coming back. I play a Hibs save and get demolished by Celtics and Rangers every time. The others I can deal with but. Care to help us out? ❤
Thank you my friend, appreciate the kind words! Going up against Celtic and Rangers is certainly a challenge. However, I think the most important thing that I see a lot of people not do is keeping faith in your own team, and what they're good at. For example, if you built a team focused on high-pressing football, it would be a waste to then switch it up to a counter attacking system just because the opponent is better. Now this won't always work, and sometimes the difference in quality is just too great, but I still firmly believe that believing in your own strenghts is the best way to go
Hey there buddy! Man utd can be a difficult opponent to come up against. Have you tried the tips in these videos? If so, what is your team struggling the most with?
Thanks for the kind words man! I'm planning to make more videos on how to counter tactics and formations, so stay tuned! Which counter to a formation or tactic would you like to see me cover the most?
Can you make video on how to break team with 5 defender. Currently im doing save in serie A and most of team use 5 defender. Although i still won some games but the goal deficit is small and I always conceded few goals

I like how you look at the game from a logic perspective, each strength can be nullified, it really helped me out with my tactics and games!
I'm happy to hear that my friend!

Extremely useful for online saves!
Thanks man, hope you can put it to use to dominate some of the online folks!

Yes, I think 4231 is the best tactics for Fm23.
But I really love 41212, which is hard to work in FM now
A well set up 41212 can still be very deadly, especially that dangerous triangle up front! Have you managed to get it to work this year?

I prefer to play high tempo, lot of goals, don't need high ball poss.

Exit another options for covera weakness FB go support attack ,cover gap holdung midef.and it is no problem
Last formation break very easy ,4-2-3-1 is good on the wings
What about 41221?
ur a beast thanks lad

Do player instructions matter?
Just do a 5 b ack with 2 dm on defend and 3 up top
That's actually very similar to one of the example tactics that I suggested! Great minds think alike!
i just like your videos ma, to be honest
