As a native born Mexican (City of Puebla), I’m very happy for my birth nation, the people have spoken (hopefully) and they chose who they wanted to lead them. Many “firsts” but I could care less about that. As long as this person is qualified and up to the task, that’s all that should really matter. As a Mexican citizen I voted for Claudia Sheinbum cause of her proposals and notice that her ideas are really good in matters like science and technology, more jobs to keep building new infraestructure, keeping the welfare programs for the elderly, handicapped people, low income students, etc and more. In regards of the cartels is very simple, if in the United States the government puts in jai for 10 years all the gang members and drug addicts then automatically the cartels would disappear in Mexico since it wouldn't be no more drug consumers.

Congrats to her on her win. México has been getting lower unemployment rates, especially since they have started electing people of that Morena Political Party. They've also started getting lower unemployment rates ever since started electing more leaders in the government of the female gender, so all those who say that females aren't suited for leadership positions like this are completely wrong, because they're very successful in so many countries. As a mexican I truly believe that as society we only tend to measure the skin color as a group of a race, so all the white ones includes jews, polish, russians, spanish, gypsies, norwegians, etc, so we dont take any other racial feature as a determinant, if the person was born in mexico, it don't matter how much of a black or a white that person is, for us is mexican, maybe that's why we tend to make fun of anyone who says is half this race or a third of that other race, we say to them "you're just mexican and that's it" because as a culture we think that anyone can be a mexican.
