Can’t wait to see how much the hard plastic parts stiffens up the chassis. Trx4 sport is green/black so, some tricked out blue would be sweet.
Yes, it helps quite a bit. The bounce and erratic behavior is almost eliminated.

Loving my RTR but have swapped a lot out at this point, I should have waited for the kit really but I’m too impatient 😂

Oh great, and here I was just getting ready to order a SCX10 II kit LOL!! I just wonder how similar the layouts are. Even more so, if the same bodies will fit.

I just finished this kit,it is pretty nice my chassis does not have that kinda flex and the plastic parts seemed alot stronger then the rtr version i looked at at the lhs,so maybe it comes with the hard plastic?I want the rtr though for the display box.

You mention you have a "master" painter.... see how much of a master he is: go for a color-change paint! My person scheme is purple/gold/pink-gold color change, but get creative with it!

@@RCReviewChannel well a Holmes BLE pro Trail Master brushless sensored ESC, with a torque master Brushless Sensored 550 can 3200kv both waterproof. I think Holmes makes a 480oz waterproof servo gotta have at least 400oz or more that's for sure. Built in Dean's connection so I can eliminate the BEC all together. I love your body Idea along with the extras ya bought and I almost bought the axe system but I bought 2 xr10pro's instead. Burned one out already lol, ya I'm a noob lol. But I'm learning so ya. I would like an F150 body and no wheel wells so I can get as much flex as possible. Not even sure about tires and wheels yet because I just bought the TRX4pro with tracks right out of the display case on saterday lol. Still need wheels for that one too.

I think you should paint it like a Scout 800a Comanche, or SR-2, or even an Aristocrat. Look them up they are killer Dolled up Scouts and that body would look great with one of those paint schemes on it.
I put duratrax deep wood tires on my enduro with tje stock foams they come with. These things are CRAZY good! Im almost wish it had a slipper clutch because they grip and wrap up so well. They are really reasonably priced and I dont see many people review or talk about them. Unmounted they are like $23 a pair. Also put the duratax showdowns on my trx4 sport with equally good results. Just be aware the mounted version seems to have a weak hub and I spun one and had to dismount them and run beadlocks. Exited to see how the "hard parts" improve performance. Another great video and excited to see the progress!
the deep woods are a fantastic tire but for the terrain and weight of my trx4 I had to put dual stage foams in them. Now they grip the rocks better and dont fold under so bad during side hill climbs. Can't wait to see this project build!

Paint.. if he can do the it looks black but is emerald green.. then maybe something like a camouflage style.. so its kinda like a chameleon... in camo.. so as it moves thru the lighter and darker shaded areas while driving it will change colors and blend in

3 brothers racing steering servo. Paint chrome silver with orange and black paint to make it pop. Camera should like this combo also.

I’ve been building this kit and frankly it’s a big money pit. During the build I’ve looked at parts and cringed at the quality and upgraded as I’ve built it. So far I’m at the axle builds and I’ve already upgraded the following just to get to adequate level quality: ST Racing Front Shock Towers with integrated panhard mount-$30, Samix aluminum hexes-$16, Samix metal pivot balls-$18 and now I just broke a castor block while building the front axle (known common issue with builders kit), so I’ve had to stop in my tracks during the build. I really don’t want to drop any more money on parts that should have been usable out of the box. I built the TRX4 Sport Kit before the Element and it’s a much better kit. Parts quality is better and the manual is better. I’ve not gotten to the Enduro shocks but I’m very happy with my TRX4 shocks. I’m not super angry, I’m just disappointed that I cannot finish my axle build this weekend

The body is supposed to be the vanquish version if an international scout. I say paint it to look like a classic scout with rich color and the white or black stripe scouts came with.
Try the new KLR-M tires.
Id say paint it your logo colors. Main color the blue and do some orange with white outlines on roof and hood scoop. What do you think the total retail will be after all the upgrades?

4:40 aren't the gears plastic?
I must say, they built and amazing kit. But the gears need to be improved. In Asia our rigs are about 3 kgs and the gears don’t hold up well. Having saying that. The scx10ii still ticks all the boxes.
I would have thought that if the assembly kit had upgrades it would include the chassis stiffeners instead of having to pay extra for them that’s the idea of an assembly kit isn’t it ?
Agreed. This is version 1.0 from a new player in the space. We hope they'll amend it in the future.

After building one myself I don’t feel the plastic is soft..maybe the screw holes are on the softer side and may strip if over tighten..
Well the screw holes are the exact same plastic as the rest of it....

Chassis flex huh, why didnt elements rc fit harder plastics from the beginning? I understand if aluminum parts is optional, but harder plastics? I like plastic, its light, but too bendy flexie plastics is never a good thing.
good question. Version 1.0 is our guess. We hope they address it in the future out of the box
Honestly a huge mistake to release it with the plastics they used. Soon as the truck came out the hard plastics were available as “upgrades”. If they do a 2.0 revamp everything but the shocks and transmission. And be sure it has a 32p Spur!

Savox 1210 is a good, reliable and affordable one. If the servo keeps breaking, there may be a problem with the ESC giving it bad voltage.
Can't go wrong with savox, thier low profile high torque and speed ones are great. They also make a savox black edition meant for short course trucks which I can say is very tough/reliable.
Francis has also recommended the 20KG servo off Amazon as a budget friendly option. I'm about to throw one of those in my Sport.
I cannot force my self to like this one...looks to much like a toy bit to mention I’ve never been and probably never will be a fan of team associates...but curious to see how will do.

You have to buy more to get rid of the chassis flex in a kit🤦♂️ come on AE that’s what you guys were known for was buying the TEAM KITS came with all the bling stuff. Idk man not you guys but they should solve that issue. But for the first one it blows away the first gen scx

Reefs triple 4 servo.
There are alot of very bad reviews of this truck, not polished at all. Steering link hits underneath links, body comes out scratched, plastics are very flimsy, tires aren't great, you should watch the Aussie review👍kit will be alot better because you can build it the way you want👍 but in all seriousness, there are a lot of bad reviews of it. People have gotten their hands on the new cross rtr? And also say there is no competition, it blows the enduro out of the water. I've also watched it go against a hopped up trx-4, and the cross truck cleaned it's clock. The video is from xxx rc, a very well known and honest youtuber, he couldn't believe it.
Francis has already done a couple videos of the Cross Demon Kit. I doubt the RTR version would be much better. I'm curious about the Cross RTR as well. Maybe he will get it on this channel if there are differences from the kit.
I’m honestly a bit disappointed in the sendero myself. The shocks and transmission are a huge positive, the soft crappy plastics are a huge negative. You have to buy the hard version of the shock towers to get the truck to steer properly. And unless you want the chassis flexing like a 16yr old boy trying to impress a girl, you have to buy hardened braces. This kit cost me about 300 after the hard plastic upgrades. Rant over, just a bit disappointed in associated to slack on these issues.
An oversight that will be fixed we hope. But it's great that the exact upgrade parts are available.
I know this suggestion will be unpopular but I feel like the ladies of the RC world are forgotten/neglected. Perhaps a color scheme suited to our lady friends, daughters, girlfriends, wifey's, etc?? I know the blasphemy of this suggestion!!

Nothing like stereotyping, my wife/daughter wants an rc car but it has to be pink ?, plenty of females driving 1:1 vehicles of all colours and I would imagine that if it were pink it’s resale value would be low, so if you want a pink one then paint it yourself or buy the Kyosho axe that comes in pink.
