I mentioned this in the teaser but the way you present is so easy on my almost deaf hearing that I hardly need the CC feature and that is a pleasant thing to me. At my age and with the way I've mistreated my ears since I was a child you are a treat.

I've seen several videos on this truck-all sales hype and twaddle,they really went for it big time with the "you tube professional sales team", yours is the first that seemed objective and honest,as are all your videos. I don't waste my time watching these others now....

Thank you very much for the work you put into your videos! I always refer to your reviews. The first two 1/10 scale crawlers I puchased were used. Redcat Gen7's upgraded with portal axles, LEDs, shocks & wheels.
The Sendero my third purchase. Used again, but very clean fit with brass diff covers, brass axle c-hub and sterring block assy, frame braces w/shock hoops, low pro front bumper, aluminum wheels and utility bed.
I appreciate the advice.

Awesome review, GOOD JOB. mine on its way, should have it Tuesday. Order chevy body and COOL wheels and tires Excited to run it against my axcel Blazer, and Redcat scout. Axcel is definitely my favorite so far . Just started RC about 7 months ago. What a good time to start. SOOO MUCH FUN.

I really enjoy your ,"Matter of Fact",Honest Opinion, almost Engineering Based reviews. As a retired engineer and RC hobbyist for near 40 years, I really appreciate your work. I do have one humble request when you compare the Enduro and TRX 4 scale trucks. Please use the exact type of tires, foams and wheels. Example, the Proline Hydrax 1.9 soft compound mounted on the type same of wheels. The reason for this request is, in my opinion, the most controlling factor of a trail/crawler truck's performance is the tires, foam and weight of the wheels.
Grew up competing in RC with my dad. Trained as an engineer and worked as a reviewer in another industry. In getting into crawling, I was a bit frustrated by the hype reviews and dismissive generalizations. So gave this channel a go. Glad it's getting traction.
@@RCReviewChannel Thanks for your kind reply, It appears, you do have a very deep rooted background in RC. All of my crawlers are of the Axial brand to date. However, I am an Associated Guy. I may have to many RC's. But, as bad as I prefer the Endro to beat the high centered chassis off of the Traxxas TRX4, I know your comparison will be fair. I have yet to have an TRX4 to slaughter my SCX10 II with two speed trany and a Traxxas Villian boat motor, 23 turn, zero timing, 550 size. I can't wait to see if my next trail-crawler will be a Traxxas TRX4 or AE/Enduro brand. With full disclosure, of the 50 RC vehicles I own, their is one Traxxas 2wd Slash. I purchased it to Race a Slash Stock specific class at the not to local tract. Sorry, I type so much, but I love to talk about my hobby.
I am completely new to rc I have a friend who is really into rock crawling and want to do some trails with them so I’m going to pick this truck up for my first rig you can get them for $409 with a battery and charger I think that’s a good deal for a first time buyer thanks for the great reviews
I’d stick to the five pole brushed motor they have a rebuildable reedy 16t or the Holmes one. I personally love that style of motor omg I need one of these🤤

Looks to be a very capable rc ...I do like the stock body the side I some what like the slab side Dodges , the cab looks Ford esk so does the grill , the rear looks Chevy inspired....I like it a non painted version would be nice I can see two tone and graphics on it ... tires look wide and very grippy....great video go push it and sed the full capabilities...

Hi. i bought the trx 4 sport kit. but since im not experte painter i now but in a order for bronco convertion kit for halv weight body and nicely painted and detailed;) but. whit the sport i got: 2x Springs, shock (natural finish) (GTS) (0.30 rate, white stripe) and 2x Springs, shock (natural finish) (GTS) (0.39 rate, orange stripe). but it looks like the bronco comes whit Springs, shock (natural finish) (GTS) (0.45 rate). Any recomendations if i shoude have same rate on all wheels and if i shoude have softer 0.30 rate or bit harder? thanks in advance for any advice. Great channal.
About the overdrive, actually its that the rear wheels spining slower than the front, instead of front faster than rear. I found the gear set up for the front never changes and stays stock 20T - 28T - 52T. To gain overdrive you have to change the rear gearing to slow down the wheel rotation. 20T - 26T - 54T. Just to add to the confusion. Sorry! BUT GREAT VIDEO GUYS. VERY INFORMATIVE AND TOUCHES ON ALL THE THINGS I WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS RIG. THANK YOU.
Wouldn't that be underdrive if it's the rear wheels?
Our upgraded TRX4 has overdrive front and underdrive rear. 25% total difference in spin.

Cool truck, but definitely wouldn't sell big at $500 bucks.....that's crazy. $350 is on the money for what you get here.
Agree with you and we're very happy about this. But some other company would have marketed it as: "hey upgraded, servo, motor, AND overdrive so it's a a steal at $500". :)

I believe they make hop up parts made out of a harder material or composite line in there racing cars composite. If that’s that the case that’s huge weight savings on sprung weight and is super rigid.

Aside from being a new subscriber, I'm also new to this hobby. I'm looking to purchase my first rig this weekend; I was thinking maybe a Redcat Gen 8, but this looks pretty good as well. Would you recommend this instead, or may there be something else I should look into?
I've got a redcat Gen 8 and the Enduro . My advice get the Enduro Sendero.

I was going to order a rc4wd tf2 with a 1st gen 4runner body to do a complete scale version of my 1:1... but man! This rig seems so amazing!

Really not much. Pretty impressive. It is nicely damp and it seems to have good drive ratios. Maybe they're running the twist into the ground too which helps.

@@RCReviewChannel Already have a modified 1/24 Deadbolt and quite enjoy it. I ended up getting a TRX4 Bronco that my LHS had in stock and then a week later ordered a Wraith as more of a crawler. Moving my Honcho to Trail Truck (as it should be) and Bronco as a detailed Scaler.

Yes, you can. You'll break our heart though. Have you seen our series on lipos? Very safe, powerful and light with good products.

If you have a cell phone or a tablet, you already use this kind of battery... If you follow some rules, they are safe... I saw cell phone explosions, even some electric car fires... Most of the time when something wrong happens, it's due to a human error...
@@wolfgangtropp4935 same here till about two years ago. Now, LiPo is my first choice unless I am looking for weight and it usually means an 8 cell. Just follow the rules of maintaining and charging, sure you will get a bad battery once in awhile, but if you are careful, the benefits are so much greater.
I have only heard GREAT things about this truck. I picked one up thursday. I will admit there are alot of cool aspects to this release but I have to disagree that the truck was such great quality and that they could have sold for 500$. IMO the redcat gen8 is a much better bang for the buck. I own both and drive both. here are my gripes, the obvious bumpers are huge, I dont like how thin the body is and the way the two sections mate together leaves a gap towards the bottom, also the body bangs around like crazy because there is too much space between the body clip holes and the body , the frame is very thin and has way too much flex, the plastic parts feel very cheap , I mean for god sake the shock mounts can be bent 45 degrees with the slightest bit of pressure! It just doesnt feel like quality in my opinion. Dont get me wrong there are alot of cool features. The stock esc and motor and very smooth, the transmission is so quiet and I like the shocks with a lighter weight oil but there is just TOOOOOO much hype surrounding this truck and seams like everyone is jumping on the bandwagon of high praise. One more thing the option parts is great but not when you sell the truck with rubber shock towers and then sell a regular plastic shock tower as an upgrade when every other company gives you a decent plastic shock tower to begin with
No portals, they have to have their own class. Scx10 and vanquish vsx10 are the only competition for this.

So sorry buddy you are 1000% wrong 🤙🏽 and the element enduro has stock over under with a super lcg chassis body is lighter than air and the steering link is behind the axle.... Trx4 is out numbered and with less parts🤣🤣🤣🤣🤮
Think its going to be a pretty close match, one will do better in some sections than the other. At the finish line though.. tough call. All this assuming that both rigs stay in one piece and as much controllable factors are in place, like tires, wheels and foams being the same. Matching the bumper approach and departure as close as possible should be considered as well.

It's all ours. That's our local test track and we're able to run every vehicle through there. Check the rest of our channel for comparison videos.
No mention of how jumpy the throttle/reverse is, no mention of how rubbery and flexible the chassis and bumpers are (the rear is like string cheese) no mention of the basically non existant drag brake. Kind of suprising with how critical your reviews usually are.
Just the first 2 packs. Keep the suggestions coming and we'll look out for them since we'll be doing a ton of testing. Some tentative observations:
- didn't notice the reverse jumpiness yet
- chassis flex seems designed in since it crawls so well
- body posts seem flimsy
- tires are not vented but they leak a little air so they can go flat
- servo horn is plastic but seems strong for now.
- drag brake is pretty impressive actually
@@RCReviewChannel fair enough on the drag brake, I didn't notice the jumper being at 50% my first run at full it's pretty decent! I also lost my steering servo within the first hour today.

That means I payed way too much money for my truck’s I have the gen7 I payed 5 hundred dollars after taxes then I have the Everest 10 I payed 475 for it after taxes then I have the 5th scale it’s the clawback I payed 868 after taxes wow I payed way too much money for them and all of them broke on the first run the clawback keep burning up ESC and I went all teken in it the transmission’s went out of the other two can’t keep gears up in it so I went all Metal gears in them now they run but not to good at all there junk I went all Losi
I use to trust your reviews. No more, this truck out of the box, have to fix body ?? Got to be kidding me. I owned it for 1 hour then it was back at UPS.
