  • The RC Crawler world is loaded with RC dreamers, builders and full-on enthusiasts. People have been building wild and exciting rigs and with that is the urge to build something that hasn’t been done before. Until now, these enthusiasts have pretty much stuck to solid axle builds, but Element RC who has quickly found the route to the head of the crawler pack has just released an exciting product that will open the door to so much more. Their release is the IFS conversion kit which stands for Independent Front Suspension. As you already guessed, this bolt-on kit replaces the solid front axle assembly with independent suspension and still keeps the killer 45-degree steering. In the kit, a front gear case, gears, suspension arms, universal driveshafts and everything else you need to swap out the suspension on your Element RC Enduro Sendero, Trailwalker or builders kit. We got our hands on one of the first units available and dropped it into a Enduro build we were working on. Want to get more out of your Enduro? Talk a look at this Element RC IFS Conversion Kit Overview.
    NOTE: This kit can be adapted to the SCX10ii or Trail King FREE by using conversion parts. You can print these parts by downloading STL file or get them at Shapeways. (3 parts, top plate and shock hangers)

    Its a pretty solid option for more scale builds, as most trucks and SUVs are IFS and solid axle out back. Would be a cool platform for a Ram Runner build.

  • @toddbertram6556
    @toddbertram6556 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I like it, it's like a narrow track yeti with rear suspension mounted on the axle rather than lower trailing arms. This truck has some super cool scale options in its future. Gotta get that body secured, pretty floppy running, good look though overall, I like the pre runner direction. The enduro is on my list of rigs to pick up, and this ifs kit may kick it to the top of the list.

Also, I do a one week summer day camp at our school called Mach 5, it is all about racing. This summer I am going to give all the kids who attend an Axial SCX24. I'm surprised more people aren't doing that because think about it. When I do the Dakar Rally most of the cars are double Wishbone suspension to buggies the Hilux trucks. And people who race professionally have in Baja. I have independent front suspension. Sometimes think about it. I think that independent front then you should technically get more wheel travel independently of each other on each axle. Anyone with us solid axle?

    I just got the enduro trailwalker for $350. Thats $200 off and it comes with everything but AA's. I was going to get an axial, but this thing is a $700 axial. The motors in axial are better but thats it.

      Love your in-depth look at products brother. I will probably never buy an Enduro Senduro, I just don’t care for the name and the only thing it’s got going for it is the Overdrive transmission. Thanks for the info👍, those that like the Enduro and have them I will send them this link

      KRAVEN KRAWL HOBBY Thanks for watching!! If you’re interested in just the IFS, you can adapt this kit to the SCX10II and Trail King.

      SCX10 II would be more up my alley. Thank you, I’m gonna have to try one so I can know first hand the capabilities instead of just assuming it has no merit.

    Is it just me or does that look as if the front springs are of too high a rate?

    So it's a very slow short course truck without independent rear suspension now? Why not just buy a short course truck and change the gear ratio? I'm sure that would crawl as well in not better than this thing?

    Here’s an idea
    Get another kit and fit it to the rear .

      Yup, just lock the bellcrank and, oops, the tires roll opposite of the front. Maybe the stock ring and pinion would fit.
