while it’s normal to have the knee jerk reaction at your parents lying to you for your entire life, they need to grow tf up and realize the reasons behind it actually make sense
Yea like it would make sense to freak out but tbh Superman is an established character in this universe already, surely after a momentary freak out they’d realize “damn my dads like literally the best person on the planet”
Because Jordan had anxiety and trouble socializing so he was known as a weirdo because of his mental health disorder. He was always jealous of Jon being better athletically and so he thought Jon had powers and that the krypntonian half genetics gave jon powers and him anxiety and a crave for attention
He is emotional because his powers are awakening and messing with his mind and emotions, causing anxiety, depression, etc..., they have been for a while at this point.
I think thea had a pretty good arc before all that. She was a whiny brat too most of first season and eventually grew post meeting Roy and by the time Oliver told her she had matured a lot. So it wasn't so surprising to see her react like that coz she learned to get out of the I me myself mindset while these two kids are just whiny and havent really gone through anything compared to thea or clark and lois. They are just immature but think they are mature and know everything and deserves to know thinking they are capable to carrying such burdens or understand consequences.
@@geraldjames7719 yeah, all the kids knew, and even then some of them had hang-ups. Layla hated using her powers for combat and Warren's powers came from his supervillain dad who was in jail.
Yeah I’m the reason you don’t have powers, I’m also the reason your brother has powers. What you want him to do make you a supervillain? Cause that’s exactly what you would become.

Show is good. I have to remind myself they are teenagers. That's all there is too it, this is standard dumb teen behavior. But the show is good. Little stretched out at times, but it's well worth the watch
I always thought this was one of the only real negatives of this show. It was a really terrible decision not telling them because if they did they could prepare them for the possibility of those powers instead of just winging it. Clark should have known bettwr
Yeah, it felt extremely dangerous not to tell them. Imagine if their powers manifested at school in Metropolis and they blew up the building with cameras everywhere. Not to mention the kids do have the right to know their own heritage
Not everyone being mad that his son is upset about his parents lying to him about who his dad really was and his own origin and having their son thinking he was crazy and being put on pills. Yeah guys he’s such a whiny cry baby 😐
Kid #1 whining cause he doesn’t get his dad’s superpowers, kinda understandable but definitely bratty behavior. Kid #2 upset on behalf of his brother realizing that he literally is the superior sibling and how unfair that is to him, a good brother and probably the most correct reaction to have.
@MidnightNile jordan is upset about the lying because he is an emotional teen who's been having trust issues all season. The other son is offended that his accomplishments as an athlete are either worth less because he has powers,or his parents didn't value his athletic ability because they thought it was because of powers. Both are moody teens, but the incident is really just so much of a shock that the kids bring up other things and sorts roll it together. Which is typical emotional behavior. But there is a lot of declaring how the parents feel by the kids, and the whole season you see the opposite. They are not perfect parents, but they aren't at fault here. Nearly every moment in the show hammers how, although those boys are good kids, they are still "dumb kids" that will act on emotion. Kid #1 didn't have gripes about powers, yet. He got insecure about powers later...and forever. And Kid#2 was not upset for his brother, he was offended about his football acomlishments and how his parents see him.
@@youtubeisrunbyamonkeyI like your breakdown and I agree with your points. However I still stand by my points as well. Both our breakdowns are true at the same time. Kid #1 refers to kid #2 as “superboy” in that tone of voice clearly shows he’s jealous of his power and insecure about not having it. Kid #2 following kid #1 after being lowkey insulted by him shows he is mindful of how this revelation is hurting his brother, and talking back to his dad showing he is hurt by the fact that his brother is hurt.
What was he saying about his parents putting him somewhere? And then Lois said something about mental health? Did they have him institutionalized or something? It was really hard to understand him.
Unlike some people commenting here, I am not sure that I would want super powers. Heckuva a burden and responsibility to have, especially if you’re just a teenager. Also what if mix of powers is all wrong? Like what if I had super flight speed but not the invulnerability? Man, I’d have to think twice before flying…
Now to be fair, how would you feel if a bombshell like that got dropped on you as a teenager? That is biologically speaking when humans are at their most emotional and stupid.
He's such a brat..smh. he's the only character that bothered me, other than that I enjoy the show. You have powers and your gonna act like that towards your parents?...🤦
Just let you guys know the newest season of this , the first episode , Superman got killed by doomsday easily and even got his heart ripped out, his son , this crying baby one believe get his dad heart back can save him, and then his super hearing heard a heart beat that is faster than normal, so he believes Luthor has his dead father’s heart, so he flew into the trap and get his dad’s heart destroyed by a simple human step😂😂 I was so confused, I just can‘t understand how the fuck on earth can he can believe a dead man’s heart still can still beat, and how the fuck man of steel’s heart can be destroyed so simple by a human foot stepped on it😂😂 Really trash show for sure
I'm the only one on the kids side, they were making him think he was crazy and saying "your mental health has nothing to do with this" just makimg it so he doesnt know which way is up. Even if it is Superman, it's not worth being around him if this is what your GOODGUYS do
Thank you, it seems like all the comments that I read is talking about how whiny Jordan is but he's literally the most suspicious or rather clairvoyant of what's going on around him. And instead of reassuring him that everything is fine they lied to him and make him think he was crazy. Knowing that he feels this odd disconnect with everyone around him that he can't explain. Kind of like Clark needing to keep his secret hidden from the world. It's sad really the only person that could potentially understand exactly what Jordan's feeling who's also the same person who couldn't give him the time.

Don’t even know my dad… but if you told me he was out saving lives and I have the chance to be a fucking hero I’m not going to cry like a little bitch
