YES, the stock photos are so weird, Joss and Claudie’s in particular look like completely different dolls. The only doll with colored hair in my collection right now is corinne but I do really want 116 with the pink and purple hair, and 101 (who you said is your least favorite 😂) has really been growing on me. Also 87, the classic mold with hot pink hair, has been calling to me. I don’t think many people like that one but there’s something about her that stands out to me.
Omg you’re totally selling me on 89.. I’m not sure if it’s just your doll or if they are all so beautiful but her coloring is impeccable. I’m definitely adding her to my wish list. I also actually really love Corinne’s hair now that I have her. I feel like it gives her some good personality and my 4 year old really loves it too.

Corrine was the doll that got me back into AG; I only had one, and it was Kaya from my childhood 😂 I loved her story so much that I needed the doll. I also love her mold so so so much! Her colored hair is a bonus IMO

I don't collect any dolls other than the originals, however if I found one for a good price I would get it for my granddaughters! I had the same feeling as you when I first saw the colored hair dolls. After I bought 89 I was rather hooked. I have added a few more colored hair dolls to my collection. I just call them my wild girls! LOL!!!

I am a huge fan of Corinne's face mold and I'm really falling in love with #89! ❤❤❤ I have changed wigs on dolls if I like the skintone/eyes and molds. I agree that dolls can look really different in person! I have #115 with the MG mold and her jawline does not look much at all like my original MG. They are both really pretty but different. Even the same realise can vary in appearance to me. THX, Emma!😊
Both dolls are so beautiful. I am not a huge fan of coloured hair dolls but I am open minded if I like the doll. I have Corrine and I love her so much! I might get one that has a little light pink mixed in but I mainly collect historical. Corrine and Blaire are two exceptions and there could be more! Love your in-depth review of your two dolls and advocacy for them! I seriously considered getting Corinne for a while, tbh, though I eventually decided against it; I really don't collect GOTYs, and even though I liked Corinne, I just couldn't justify adding her to my collection when I try to keep it under control. I may someday change my mind, though, because I do love the face mold so much. I still don't see myself adding dolls with unnatural hair colors to my collection, despite the fact that I, a middle-aged individual, still occasionally throw purple or blue or peacock ombre into my hair for funsies. I think for me it's just so CHUNKY. I like more subtle use of color in dyed hair, rather than chunky stripes. And the fully colored hair just makes it difficult for me to dress my dolls. I think that's why I waffled on Corinne for so long - to me, the use of her color is a little more subtle, and so more appealing. I'm not going to say that I'll NEVER own a doll with unnatural colors in their hair, because my style of collecting has already changed in the two years since I started, but I think it will take a lot for me to finally dive in and get one. I have in-depth stories for my TMs, so I think if I ever have a full story for a doll that kind of feels like it matches best with a doll with unnatural hair colors, that will be what gets me to buy one. I really appreciate your opinions and the things that led to you changing your mind. Your dolls truly are quite lovely. :-)

I bought this doll today I found her at a great price once again on eBay. Thanks again for another great convincing video. I will use her outfit on my Logan doll he will look so much better in it. I can wait to see her light colored eyes.
Congratulations on your girls! I had a bunch of colored hair wigs for my dolls before AG came out with their colored hair dolls. I was only going to get the dolls with pastel wigs, but I ended up wanting all of the AG dolls. If I see a doll long enjoy, it usually grows on me. I think that they are all beautiful. I hope to add TM116 on my next trip to an AG store. I think that is the only one I am missing now.

I've never been a fan of the colored hair, especially the first Classic mold ones they came out with, 87 and 88. I do think that 86 and 89 are much prettier. I also agree that the stock photos need a serious upgrade. My MG mold has an Isabel wig and think she is so stinking cute. Her little pointy chin gives her a younger look, almost like a sweet little fairy or elf. I'm glad AG started using the MG mold more. They inspired me to have her created. It's funny that you put out this video now, because I'm having my #26 re-wigged, as she came from ebay in a wig that I know nothing about and I wanted her to have a glow-up. One of the wigs that I want to see on her is a pink CYO bob and I'm really curious what that will look like. I'm guessing that I'll probably go with a more natural color on her, but it will be interesting to see her in all of the different options. Thanks for sharing all of this, Emma!
I have Corrine, TM #89 and 91. They are not my favorite ones. My new favorites are Nicki, Isabel, TM 122, my CYO, Courtney and Molly. The colored hair dolls are pretty. The TM#91 is under rated. Because the very dark skin Sonoli mold with gray eyes is beautiful.
I think it’s the revamp of the Sonali mold That makes me not want her. The Sonali face mold has changed so much over the years and I just don’t like the way it looks anymore. I really want Nikki and number 122 is extremely gorgeous. I hope to own her someday!😊

I do have several colored wigs that I change around on several of my dolls. I also bought #86 for my collection several years ago because I ❤purple. I would pick her as my favorite colored hair doll. I have kind of liked both 89 and Corinne and now after your video I am really wanting to add them to my collection. I don’t really like green but I do ❤ the blue/green combo in this dolls wig!! I gotta agree on the goty Isabelle hair fiasco. When I was 11 the hair extension was all the rage, but now I do NOT like it. As for Corinne, I felt immediately that she belonged in my collection. It felt like I was supposed to have her. I was blessed to have the opportunity to pick her out in person, and honestly I was kinda expecting to change my mind when I saw her in real life. I am NOT a fan of the new eyelashes but I surprisingly do like it more than I expected to.
I've never really cared for people dying their hair with unnatural hair colors, so I wasn't really a fan of the dolls having unnatural hair colors. However, after getting #92, my biggest frustration now is that she seems to be the one that most people don't talk about. I got her because she reminded me a lot of Indigo from the 80s Rainbow Brite dolls. Not exactly the same, as IIndigo had jet black hair with periwinkle blue highlights. It's all I could think of when I saw her. I also like her now as Mom and I collected when I was a teen, and my favorite color is red and hers is blue. It wasn't until I changed her outfit that some green started to show, and that was my Dads favorite color. I also really love #89 as she has both my parents' favorite colors in her hair. I've never really cared for the dolls with the pastel blue, pink or lavender hair as the only thing I can think of is that they fell into the cotton candy machine at a carnival or fair. I cannot do the all bright purple hair as it reminds of witch hats that we had in the party section for Halloween, and one of the 3 colors they had was a shade of purple close to the dolls hair color. I'm on the fence with the all blue hair, as its my Moms favorite color, but I'm still really not a fan of an all unnatural wig. I prefer the ones with a natural color with unnatural highlights. I do like the darker purple one as it's dark enough that in certain lighting, it could almost pass as a shade of brown. Question...do you think they'll add more dolls to the Street Chic collection as when they did the Truly Me rebrand, they skipped #s 93-99 and went straight to 100. 🤔

Ah the color haired girls ❤ Well, to be quite honest, AG got that idea from 18 in doll wig makers and customizers. We (I’m a couple of years into customizing) have been making custom girlies for a few years with colored wigs before AG understood that want/need with some doll lovers. 😏 I think AG tunes into the customizers that are really successful on Etsy or other secondary selling sites bc that’s where painted on eye lashes came from too. I love trying new wigs on different skin tones and using eye colors that just appeal to me and hopefully to others! You convinced me that #89 is truly beautiful and can be girly too! I have Corrine and I love her bc of her unique face mold. At first, I wasn’t that impressed with her blue hair, but I’ve grown to love it bc it sets her apart even more than if she’d just had a black wig. I’ll leave a couple of photos on your AGIG so you can see what I’ve done with a couple of my girlies ❤ Again, thank you for another great video!
i have purple hair so i think the dolls with unnatural hair colours are really cool! i just wish some of them were executed better because the colour on quite a few dolls are a little tacky looking lol. i completely agree with you on the stock photo thing. i think joss probably had it the worst, her stock photos made her look so ugly but she’s so stunning irl.

I been thinking about buying #89 and I bought Corinne. I have been a fan of Corinne from the start. Yes I agree it’s been hard for me to get into colored hair dolls. I’m not a fan of extreme synthetic hair color in real life. When I saw these colored hair dolls in the coffee shop I went crazy over them. I did buy the purple hair doll and am going to buy the coffee shop. I love the Marie Grace mold and the Sonali mold.

Most of my wig collection is from Exquisite Doll Designs, but I got my first colored hair wigs from another company that is no longer around. I can't remember the name. I’m not the biggest fan of colored hair on dolls. I think because most color hair is poly. The hair type matters, especially for styling. I am also really particular for the historicals and not as big for the truly me dolls. But I do like some of the clothes.

Ah the color haired girls ❤ Well, to be quite honest, AG got that idea from 18 in doll wig makers and customizers. We (I’m a couple of years into customizing) have been making custom girlies for a few years with colored wigs before AG understood that want/need with some doll lovers. 😏 I think AG tunes into the customizers that are really successful on Etsy or other secondary selling sites bc that’s where painted on eye lashes came from too.
I love trying new wigs on different skin tones and using eye colors that just appeal to me and hopefully to others! You convinced me that #89 is truly beautiful and can be girly too! I have Corrine and I love her bc of her unique face mold. At first, I wasn’t that impressed with her blue hair, but I’ve grown to love it bc it sets her apart even more than if she’d just had a black wig.

i have purple hair so i think the dolls with unnatural hair colours are really cool! i just wish some of them were executed better because the colour on quite a few dolls are a little tacky looking lol. i completely agree with you on the stock photo thing. i think joss probably had it the worst, her stock photos made her look so ugly but she’s so stunning irl.
Omg yes I literally love your hair I’ve always wanted colored hair but I’m just scared of damaging my curls. Agreed some of them do look tacky especially with their stock photos. And omg yes joss is so pretty !😭

I been thinking about buying #89 and I bought Corinne. I have been a fan of Corinne from the start. Yes I agree it’s been hard for me to get into colored hair dolls. I’m not a fan of extreme synthetic hair color in real life. When I saw these colored hair dolls in the coffee shop I went crazy over them. I did buy the purple hair doll and am going to buy the coffee shop. I love the Marie Grace mold and the Sonali mold.

I think I got into colored hair for the dolls when Sew for Dolls was showing wigs by Exquisite Hair for Doll. I think that was the name of the company.
Thanks for remembering that! I have been thinking about getting my wigs out again. Most of my wig collection is from Exquisite Doll Designs, but I got my first colored hair wigs from another company that is no longer around. I can't remember the name. I would have to find my first wig video to know for sure! Wigs are so much fun!

The only colored hair doll I have is the one with the bright purple hair. I was planning to get the one you bought but can't commit yet. I don't really like colored hair dolls overall but I am still thinking about it.

I’m not the biggest fan of colored hair on dolls. I think because most color hair is poly. The hair type matters, especially for styling. I am also really particular for the historicals and not as big for the truly me dolls. But I do like some of the clothes.
