Love the late 90's to early 00's era of logos and jerseys in both the NHL & NBA !!! Like the "Angry Bison" from Buffalo or the "Flying Penguin" from Penguins or the "Diving Eagle" from Capitals or the Islanders "wave & lighthouse" jerseys (after the fisherman) or Canucks navy blue-red-silver era of colors.
Never knew this line existed and how amazing this was. That blue Penguins jersey might as well have been St. Louis and that green Flyers jersey looks like someone combining the Flyers and the Eagles as if they had an Eagles night.
I have the Preds jersey shown in the video. It is very strange as the quality is so poor and it was made in China while most Starter replicas are made in Korea. I’ve seen a couple Chinese Starter jerseys and they look similar to the Korean ones and don’t look anything like the rare Starter fakes
I'm seeing some of these for the first time. Some of them are quite good. Did Starter make multiple colors for all teams? I never knew Pro Player made these too.
@@mikes7446 John here, I may not be a Sabres fan, but I think the original logo is absolutely perfect. It's a Buffalo, it's Sabres, it's well contained and balanced, and it looks GOOD. Adidas' embellishments aren't a detraction either, and the red eye? Great touch that doesn't hurt when it's omitted. If the goathead was a secondary or third jersey, fine, but that original logo is superb.

I remember hockey jerseys were big in the hip hop scene in the mid 90’s. I wonder if that was Starter’s decision for the alternate colorways.

That's why we're here! And yeah, it's totally St. Louis. I'm not convinced if it's navy blue or black on the shoulders though

I could see the teal for the Flyers if they were playing off the Eagles, which might be fun as a one-off. But the CCCPenguins jersey, oh no.
I'm intrigued by this city color swap if the teams don't share a color scheme like Pittsburgh does. It'd make for a fun warm-up, that's for sure.

The sabres red jersey is arguably better than the black as unlike the black the red maintains the bison head silhouette in the negative space
You increase the size of the winged wheel on those Detroit jerseys and they would be so much better. Not the cotton candy one though.

I recently managed to get that black habs one for a good price. It is ugly but I love it! I feel it looks better in person.

They need to go back the that logo. One of the reasons I got the black one. I wanted the white but was to afraid to dirty it
