The song puts in perspective the Disco era was about it wasn't a lot of Howard the duck BS it was about cutting edge music like this which I called jazz and r&b music
22 years old and I love the music from this era!! Disco is truly timeless and immaculate in its vibe and aura. I am addicted to this song and the movie
One of the best tunes *EVERRRR* !! I used to disco around my house to this tune when I was like 4 or 5! And still do today! Electric piano at the beginning is the awesomest!!
Excelente tu análisis, desde los tiempos aquellos de las mejores orquestas del mejor sonido, no habrá otra vez como estás Orquestas .. fuerte abrazo de músico de aquellos tiempos saludos!
Simple. Some individuals out there walking the Earth today are jealous, narcissistic & whatever other terms are applicable. They are possessed by the devil 😈 , so they need an exorcist. They also need an electrician to uncross the wires short circuiting their brain.
In reply to the last comment, couldn't agree more. Same age range, being born in 1971. Back in the days when people played real instruments, not synthesizers. Old School has stood the test of time.
I'm in the US and in Connecticut and I will always say that without Philly and Europe Disco would not be what it was and is today. It's still alive in my heart.
I love instrumental bands like MFSB that broke new ground in the recording industry I like their songs like The theme from Soul Train, Sexy, K-Jee, Love is The Message, Bitter Sweet, Get Down With The Philly Sound, Let's Clean Up The Ghetto and more too!!! I really miss great music nowadays but they don't make them like that anymore!!! God bless Philly Soul and the 70s!!!! I love the 70s and I never left it!!!!! Thanks so much
Such a wonderful tune!! My only complaint: the organist was getting down when the song fades. They should have gave him at least 3 minutes to do his thing. Otherwise, a MASTERPIECE!!!
Not to often you will hear strings somewhat taking lead in such a funky, groovy, jazzy upbeat song and that organ at the end just top it off with a little bit of soul.
In the 1970s, KMSP-TV 9 used this as their newstheme in their final years as an ABC affiliate before losing ABC to former NBC affiliate KSTP-TV 5 in 1979 and going independent...
Grandiosa, Iconica, 👍🌟Orchestra!!! Brano Disco, Jazz-Funk 🎼, stupendo! Con un "levare" della Batteria 🔝! Bellissimo l'intro del pianoforte & il finale con l'organo Hammond. 👏✨
MFSB is the defining group and music of Disco ‘70’s with their magnificent orchestrations and all the groups they backed up Trammps, First Choice, Three Degrees, etc. Love Is The Message was the number 1 Orchestrated Disco Classic played in Grand Ballroom NYC and all Discos @75. Thanks MFSB for the great times.
