MargaritaMolly hey there. if you don't mind telling, could you tell me how you were diagnosed with adhd, because I think I might have it but my parents don't listen to me. it's just so hard to convince them, and their response is that since I'm not doing well at school and am depressed that's why I might think that I have some mental health issues, but I know it's much more than that
you dont have to be formally diagnosed for it to be important. i suggest you talk to a teacher that you trust on this issue and they can refer you to a counsellor or call your parents to talk about it

My symptoms are: I can't concentrate easily, I always need to be moving a body part (this one varies), I cant focus well, I can easily forget things (apart from birthdays, I'm pretty good at remembering them) and I am very energetic (most of the time) that's ADHD though. There is also ADD where your not hyper you basically can't focus. No matter what ur parents say. Tell them u want tested for it at least. I chose not to get medicine for it because it's not that bad but if it's bothering you that much you might wanna try it
