I said it before and I'll say it again, ERWAN DESERVES HIS OWN NETFLIX SERIES. He's a great storyteller. Plus, the quality of the videos they post is superb. Hindi sya pang-TH-cam lang.

The channel produces insightful and beyond mundane contents. Erwan features really interesting travel videos. He streamlines the underrated travel sites yet he successfully launches their points of interests to eager viewers by tackling the less exposed angles. I hope to see more travel videos showcasing Philippine destinations. Huge fan here.
Father is from San Jacinto in Ticao, Masbate. the place is so pristine with crystal clear waters. Hopefully, it doesn't get messed up by tourists.
the best thing about living in an island is you get to tour most of the places by motorcycle without HELMET and just feel the air and enjoy nature WITHOUT interruption like traffic lights and big cars.
Erwan try and commercialized your channel on other platforms so it can grow. Do shorts and upload them everywhere it can be a great addition to the channels growth.

My grandmother is from Ticao Island. I've never been there nor have seen any pictures before. It's nice to finally get a glimpse of where she grew up!

I was born in Masbate but grew up in Manila. Had few vacations from time to time but never been to Ticao. Thanks for the feature, FEATR! Love you liked the local food Erwan! Love the background music while looking for manta rays on deep sea! I am excited for part 2! :)
This is where I grew up! I miss the island life! Not skipping ads! Aside from ticao island, you might wanna visit the other island, burias. 10:46 we call it sinagol/kinunot. 😍
I have my parental origins from Ticao here too, parents were from San Fernando born and raised. A trip to the island is NEVER complete without sinagol. Fond childhood memories too of the short stop at Bulan and having breakfast at the port carinderias with this before crossing.

This is our island. I visited the places Erwan went to (except the Manta Ray spot). It’s definitely a marvel; crystal clear seas, diverse marine life; equals great childhood.

When you are looking for that rich umami combine with a real kick of spiciness, you really can't go wrong with Sasa ❤️
the stingray dish is called "kinonot". The original recipe is composed of either a sampalok leaves or libas(a sour leaf plant) chopped and mixed in the boiled and flaked stingray. The kalamansi and malunggay leaves is an option if the above mentioned leaves are not present. It also has a distinct ginger and black pepper taste that compliments the whole dish. Im glad you enjoyed it. Also, nice cinematography as well as script.

Far from happening, not enough infrastructure for tourism there yet, also the island is very very big, everything is spread out, so i don't think it can become a concentrated toursim spot like Siargao or Bora or Bohol. - Erwan

Maybe this place is the destination now as Siargao, Bohol, Moalboal , Kawasan were all obliterated. I have a few friends that are looking for places now to explore.

That stingray flakes is lovally called "KINUNOT" ..It is super easy to cook.. Just coconut milk, ginger, stingray meat, vinegar, malunggay, bay leaves, and chili for spiciness if you want.. Just put the coconut milk, ginger, garlic, onion.. let it boil then put the stingray meat.. put some bay leaves, vinegar.. then season it to your liking.. and also sili..
Its super easy because the stingray is already cooked.. You just have to boil it then get the meat..
That is how we do it at home.. probably my one of my fave dish especially when cooked properly.. chefs kiss😘

Not one of his videos ever disappoints. The quality of his videos is ALWAYS top-tier. From the cinematography to information. I learn a lot from him in regards to food, travel, and even vocabulary.
I still can't believe that his content is a little bit underrated. He and his team deserve more and I agree with one of the comments that state that he should have his own Netflix documentary or even a spot in Filipino television like c'mon look at that quality.
