City of Phoenix PW: 2018 Heil Rapid Rail Refuse Truck

It has been over a decade since the city of Phoenix ordered brand new Heil units specifically the Heil Rapid Rail model [Last units to service the city were 1998-1999 models]. Back in 2018, the city received two 26 YD (CNG Powered) Rapid Rails and two 20 YD (diesel) Rapid Rails. This set of units were the first Heil Environmental ordered since the Python units back in 2004. Enjoy watching the lone unit out of the Union Hills service center tackle a heavy post Christmas recycling route. At the time this video was taped, the other 26 YD unit, 830106 was located at the Glenrosa service center. A huge thank you to one of the best operators I have met for allowing me to video their unit in action!
