    Great video, thank you. I only like flex blades in all rear. On most rigs, the suspension in thr rear has longer links that can handle the extra flex. My experience was like yours in the front the blades would catch on the knuckle and steering link. But the one thing I didn't like is the front unloading when climbing causing a lose od traction and rolling backwards. I find Injora to be good for wheels and tires and lights, but alot of their products are garbage, especially for the 10 scales!!! Subbed!!!👍👍👍

    • @rcfungames
      @rcfungames  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I definitely agree with you there I'm also only running them on the rear axle, and I have also not been impressed with most of this stuff for the 1/10 scale
      I got lots of brass parts to fit to my 1/10 scale rigs which is one of the things they do okay.
      And yes I also think the products they've made for the trx4m's are a bit better quality than most of their products used to be.
      But once again I don't understand why produce parts like the flex blades.
      Instead of just trying to keep up with all the other manufacturers make parts that actually do upgrade the vehicle and not hit the performance like this upgrade does.
      So far I still think you're better off just throwing the reduction gears a set of rims and tires he's more than enough to get the performance a person wants out of the vehicle.
      Everything else just starts hitting the overall performance as it's getting too heavy.

      Dude I tried many set-ups on the front exel but regardless of how it was set up the angle on the drive shaft is just too much and causes binding when the suspension is stretched out, besides that it can climb anything, it just rolls over
      I spent many days changing the setup on my Bronco and the best setup is just removing the front Flex blades and removing the top rear one and it now performs ok
      I am quite happy with my setup as it is now.
      This front regardless of changing the arms around it doesn't look good and you still have the same group which stole causes the problem with the drive shaft in the front.
      Which is just a problem waiting to give broken gears or drive shaft.

      I'm just running the Injora stainless steel drive shafts.
      What makes all the difference is the high-clearance links!
      Put two of their spaces on the upper links that helps usually for the angles on the drive shaft!
      Allowing for a bit more travel on the front axle.

  • @The_RC_Guru
    @The_RC_Guru ปีที่แล้ว +2

    They bother producing them because many ignorant people think they need as much “flecks” as possible so they buy them. It’s unfortunate but true. A tire height of flex is typically as much as you need. By that I mean 3 tires on the ground and one lifted to the same height as the tires are tall. I see a couple other comments on here of those people claiming their massive flecks has them getting around better than all other trucks lol. We know better and it’s a shame they refuse to accept it.

      @@ifunny2725 hi bro, if you like realism! And if you like your rig performing well!! I definitely don't recommend the flex blades!
      They are awesome for pictures and showing off, and that's about it.
      When it comes to performance they hit every aspect really hard.
      The only thing that improves is crawling on flat surfaces with obstacles, hill climbs, side hiling and hill descends, are vertically impossible with them fitted.
      And that's not talking about, the body lean and torque twist, that gets substantially worse, with the flex blades.
      And then you've also got the issue that the flex blades in the front, touch and get in the way with the steering links.
      Besides other issues it causes.

    I think you have put them on the wrong side. RUL is rear upper left. RLL is rear lower left. The left and right side of any vehicle is as you are behind the steering wheel looking out the front windshield. The right side is AKA The passenger side and the left is the driver side. I hope that makes sense the way I said it. Your video was an awesome honest one. I wish all TH-cam videos were honest and not just sucking up to what ever company the car or parts came from. You think back tires won’t rub with flex if you put like a spacer for the wheels and tires two stick out more?

    • @rcfungames
      @rcfungames  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      By pushing the wheels out further you are causing them to travel even more, causing more rubbing
      And I really don't want to push my wheels out more as I am going to lose the realistic look.

    Hey man I got a question. Can you add the trxm high trail to this chassis and add the jeep body to it? I'm wondering if I can get the hight of the high trail and the body of the regular.

    • @rcfungames
      @rcfungames  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi bro, no the Jeep body is only compatible with the chassis from the defender and bronco.
      The High Trails chassis is 2 cm longer.
      So the Jeep body nor defender or Bronco will fit on it.

    Ok it’s just an RC, but switching from a shock vertical in compression to 45° inward is not going to work well…

    • @G_de_Coligny
      @G_de_Coligny ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can’t you switch the rear upper left/right ?

    • @G_de_Coligny
      @G_de_Coligny ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also… it’s more “droop arms” than flex plates…

    • @rcfungames
      @rcfungames  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Look if you building a comp crawler then it is a good set-up but running a heavy body with those flex blades is not a good idea, and it takes away the scale look.
      There is no point in changing the uppers from one side to the other you might as well just put them back to the shock tower it works better.
      Thank you very much for watching and commenting bro 🤜🤛
