I do this all the time during the holidays! Make a killing actually! lol. I'm always shocked that no one jumps at the opportunity. I get $800 just to wait for an extra day. No prob. I live 5 minutes from the airport, single, with no kids. My parents will see me when they see me and I'll be $800 to $1000 richer by then!

BTW, you CAN call the language Iranian if you want to, but only in a contemporary context. You can say Maryam Mirzakhani spoke Iranian or Persian, but Omar Khayyam spoke Persian. Some people call this language Farsi, Dari or Tajiki, but those names only apply to one country each and are wrong when referring to another Persian-speaking nation.
So, to keep it simple, just say Persian.

Tyler Jaynes Sometimes we do understand but we are too shy to actually speak English. It has happened to me a few times depending on the person I am talking to. If I feel they wont mock me, I feel more comfortable speaking English then.

Yeah. Nasim Pedrad is originally from Iran (making her the first female and full-blooded Middle-Eastern cast member the show ever had and one in a handful of SNL cast members who weren't born in America or Canada) and she has family members who know more Farsi (Persian) than English.

This reminds me of a bus tour through Ireland (A little). Yup my mother many years ago pre 911! They had to take it down the jet bridge stairs and load it separately! I had just got hired with NWA as a aircraft cleaner and was on the job and got a call that my mother was there trying to catch a flight to Portland,Oregon on one of my buddie passes and never told me. When I found her at one of the gates she had this huge ass suit case with her whole closet in it!! I was sooo embarrassed!!! This skit reminded me of what happened that day! SMH She passed away a few years ago. RIP

In Europe it is basically priority boarding and everyone else. Planes still board quicker in Europe from my experience.
I find the Northern American system quite frustrating. I'm from Ireland (therefore from Europe) and an English speaker so can understand the instructions. Perhaps the reason Europeans (and others) with no or limited English get confused because they have no clue what is going on, the North American system is unnecessarily over segmented.
