    I am very happy that Easy Language has now included Vietnamese. I have been watching Easy languages for Spanish and French for over a year now. I am a Vietnamese-Chinese American and have been trying to find a good place to sharpen my Vietnamese again. I like the fact that you get some northern and southern accents. I like the host but I think this series is a bit advance for beginners. Vietnamese is my mother tongue and Chinese, my father tongue and I had a hard time keeping up. Nonetheless, can't wait to see the next episode.

    That's interesting. Easy Languages now produces Easy Vietnamese. Just amazing and I love it. Ms Quynh got clear voice and confidence but probably the pace needs to be slow down a bit. It may be better, if you have more simple topics for the first episodes. It will be helpful for beginners. Alright, Nice video, mate. Looking forward to seeing more Easy Vietnamese to come.

    wow we have Easy Vietnamese!!
    the host is really friendly and confident, but she needs to prepare her thoughts more and express them more smoothly, and avoids using redundant words to make it easier for the learners. The pronunciation is already good, but the word "dân" sounds pretty much like "dưn", or not?
    Many thanks to the team!

    in this video, it is mainly a southern Vietnamese accent
    - 4:04 she is a native west (she said: "DUI" instead of "VUI"; "TI DI" instead of "TV") and so is the interviewer.
    - 4:15 he is from northern Vietnam
    I com from Can Tho city

    I love hearing Vietnamese. My native language Khasi falls under the same family with Vietnamese but ofcourse different branches and I don't understand anything though I guess its not hard for Khasi people to get those tones right. Khasi however is not really a tonal language though it has a few I guess. I'm not a linguist though. Hope to visit Vietnam Cambodia Laos and Myanmar soon😊

    • @boabysands123
      @boabysands123 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vũ Jean Interesting. Until recently most of my experience of the Vietnamese language was via movies by Trần Anh Hùng where people speak much, much slower.

    • @vujean8670
      @vujean8670 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      ***** I am really, really sorry to tell you this. I honestly am. But there is a reason the Vietnamese movies/tv shows are hated by most people from its own country. They suck, the plots suck, the characters suck and the dialogues most definitely suck too. Lines in VNese movies are a lil corny (sometimes unbearably so if you pick the wrong movies). Characters speak in an exaggerated manner, sometimes you wouldn't find those speaking manners in real life. Yeah. Sorry.
      (But I want to STRONGLY emphasize that not all movies are like this, some are really great. If you are a learner you probably found good ones. But it's wise to consult the Internet or ask for a Vietnamese's recommendation)
      (Sorry for the long rant, I got carried away)

    • @boabysands123
      @boabysands123 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vũ Jean Thanks for the tip. I have only seen Trần Anh Hùng's movies and maybe one or two others, almost all of which I really enjoyed. But his films are more arthouse and not everyone's cup of tea.
      I did hear that some Vietnamese people find the language in his films very different to the Vietnamese of the country now.

    2:50 "What happened last night ? " ( written on the guy's T-shirt) . How do you say it in Vietnamese ? I guess 2 people pushed "dislike" because they are jealous about his hot girlfriend :) But her boyfriend talked more than her , so I couldn't enjoy her accent enough....
    Well, let's move to a more serious comment . I think the talking speed of the reporter is OK ( unlike some other comments who asked for slowdown). I'm still a beginner in Vietnamese , I was looking for a video in which I can hear how native speakers of different generation ( old and young ) talk in a natural tempo and with a regional accent, for example Southern Saigon accent ( since many tutorial videos for foreigners talk in standard Northern Vietnamese ).

      If you want, you may slow down the speed of the video. Hover your mouse in the center of the playing video and click on the Settings icon, which resembles a gear. In the menu, scroll to find Playback speed and click it. TH-cam gives you eight options for playback speed.:)

      We have the letter R, but it's pronounced as the letter "z" in English and sometimes the letter "y"

      The standard Vietnamese language in the South has letter R, but the Northern accent pronounces letter R as letter Z

      Đức Hùng Nguyễn Chào bạn, mình là một trong những người đã tham gia làm ra video này, mình cũng mong sẽ tìm được những người tham gia nói tiếng Bắc trong các tập tới hoặc mở rộng hoạt động của tụi mình ra miền Bắc. Tuy nhiên, tinh thần chung là giới thiệu tiếng Việt và mình mong muốn mọi giọng nói mọi vùng miền của Việt Nam đều sẽ được lên sóng. Cảm ơn bạn đã xem video và hi vọng bạn sẽ tiếp tục ủng hộ tụi mình.

      r93 Hi, I can't speak German so I hope you know English. I'm saying that I hope to either include the Northern Vietnamese dialect in upcoming episodes or expand our network to the North of Vietnam. However, I hope all dialects of Vietnamese will be welcomed and hope for further support.

      r93 Das war ihr erstes Video und sie möchten zuerst Vietnamesisch vorstellen. In der Zukunft könnten sie vielleicht das Projekt in ganzem Vietnam erweitern und so würde der norde vietnamesische Akzent gestützt, mittele vietnamesiche Akzent und so weiter.
      ich lerne Deutsch seit Januar und es gibt selbstverständlich manche Fehler.
