That ending was really something. Watching the prophet get infected was horrifying, 10/10
It's wonderful how well you've captured the tone of the original work, the first segments have all the cuteness and wonder that the world and its inhabitants embody, and then you really did a supreme job with The Radiance of having her feel terrifying not just in her godly power but in her godly disinterest in a loyal follower, genuinely scary.

@@mohammadtarek3842the radience is a higher being, similar to the Wyrm, Unn, Grimm, etc. The Radiance created the moth tribe, and also you might have noticed this orange stuff all over the game, its like an infection that has control over the entirety of hallownest, yeah i dont think just any random bug can do that, especially all while being held back by three dreamers and being stuck inside of a seamingly endless void, all sealed in an inescapable black sphere. Doing that would require a tremendous godlike power, dont you think? Also, if the radiance isnt a god, why does the Godseeker feel a pull to hallownest from the radiance?
In hollow knights world, it seems like the words "higher being" and "god" are interchangeable, meaning that being a 'god' is less of a position with specific criteria of what one must be able to do to be considered one, but rather a symbol of status, and out of all of the higher beings, or, "gods" that we see in Hollow knight, Radiance is easily one of the most powerful, so i have literally zero idea where you got the idea of radiance not being a god from.
Also, the radiance doesnt care about worship anymore, it doesnt need anyones worship, she just wants revenge on the pale king's hallownest for making everyone abandon her, to the point where only a few remembered her name or even her light.
I really like this animation. The Radiance’s behavior is what interested me the most. She is still so bitter that even after getting direct worship from somebody she still chooses to corrupt them anyway.
1:19 the Moss Prophet is like, "THE LIGHT, THE BLAZE, THE RA-" as he saw the Knight, then he said "Teboleh" in the next 8 seconds. what does "teboleh" mean is it like "what are you?" Dung Defender says that when he was staggered by the Knight
The radiance is a heatless monster, she really deserved being destroyed by Ghost.

This is so sick man. Even if there's many HK-Animations out there, most are just about the Knight and the Pale King and not about all the other characters and stories of this universe. It's so cool seeing this Side NPC that I didn't even get to see before he died in my first playthrough get his own 4 minute animation! :D

Animation wise, this was an incredible short almost looking perfectly identical to the cutscenes in the game.

This is exactly the kind of animation these guys deserve. The Moss Prophet and Mossy Vagabonds are practically brimming with bounce and personality.
I'd like to give special attention to 3:32. The eye of the Moss Prophet looking around in confusion as the infection kills him. It's such a small detail but tells so much.

I always wondered why the radiance killed the moss prophet, it felt unwarranted. Scince what the radiance wants is to be remembered by the bugs of hallownest. But when she killed the moss prophet in game it conflicted with what the radiance wants.
My theory is that the Radiance doesnt really care if the bugs under her control are alive or dead, since she can reanimate corpses. The infection is only manifesting because she is reaching out from the dream realm and the natural end point of the infection is death. Maybe if the bug is dead she gets total control over them, which might be more preferable for her.
