There are so many hidden things in this game. I have 112% as well and still probably only heard like half the dialogue since so many different things can trigger an npc to say something new.
When I discovered that Willow was eating bugs I remember asking myself if there was any character that was just there and wasnt terrifying in some way.
It's the same one found in the beginning and end of Path of Pain, so I think it has nothing to be with Hornet but instead it has something to be with the Hollow Knight chosen by the King. Although in the Sealed Siblings ending you can see a very similar seal just before Hornet's face appear on the new door of the Black Egg Temple. I summon Mossbag to explain this please. It actually if you look at it closely it resembles the reward you get for completing the Path of Pain - The Seal of Binding... The same image appears in The Weavers Den and also in Temple of Black Egg
Two years and 200+ hours, and there was an entire AREA of backer statues that I had never seen until today... Setting myself a reminder: when Silksong gets here, check EVERYTHING. Just ram Hornet’s face into every last square inch of Pharloom’s architecture, because goodness knows what is being hidden from us.
That stone? IT HOLDS MANY TRUTHS AND SECRETS. That corner? IT CONTAINS THE CURE TO WORLD HUNGER. The roof? IT HOLDS EVERY PIECE OF LORE THAT IS NOT WRITTEN OUT IN COMPLEXITY.
Something tells me even years from now we will still be finding new things tucked away in forgotten corners of the map. Whether it leads us to treasure, lore, or just Team Cherry messing with us, our joy will remain fed.

The people watching were all members of the Grimm Troupe, in full costume. The metal thing was a likely mystical anchor of sorts, since it displays a seal of binding when you hit it with spells.

Anything usually portrayed as sacred turns red when it involves Grimm. When Dream Nailing him, the dream catcher thingies that come off of him are red. And if you try to Dream Nail him without the Grimm Child equipped, then you'll see that he has another seal of binding on himself as well. Also red. Edit: The Flame Bearers or whatever they're called also give off red dream catchers. So that's another thing. It probably has to do with nightmares. Since the white color symbolizes dream, then the red could easily embody nightmares. Considering the fact that he's literally called the Nightmare King.
The glowing seal shown in what you call "Hornet's room" appears before the Path of Pain and has to do with the Hollow Knight. There is an association between silk, the King, and the Hollow Knight. This is reinforced by the presence of giant silk spools in the Hidden Stag Station and the King's secret Void workshop. Silk appears to be a necessary material for creating void constructs such as Kingsmoulds and Wingmoulds, hence its presence in the Void workshop. Using these hints, it can be inferred that the Weavers were partially responsible for the process necessary to seal the Radiance within the Hollow Knight. To what extent is uncertain, but that connection may be expanded upon in the upcoming sequel (prequel?) Silksong. As for Grimm's secret room, I couldn't say... I'll need to look into that.

I remember somewhere said that the bugs of Hallownest used to right on silk like paper to us, but the writting was lost after a long time cuz of the material, idk
When you thought this game was going to be a fun casual MV and instead it turns into a monster of a game with almost endless places so explore and deadly environments and enemies. I haven’t even beat the game yet but it’s getting insane.

The thing is that means that a wanderer survived that long because it remembers being attacked in its dream dialogue which means Willow killed it probably not long before the knight showed up
This makes me wonder what a Willow boss fight would be like. It would probably be pretty easy, but I think that Willow would pose more of a threat than Gruz Mother or Vengefly King for sure. (I also wonder what boss fights with Tiso and The Hunter would look like)
Probably already been said. But if you use magic on the thing in the secret Grimm room, there’s a red magic barrier that protects it. Must be something important to the troupe.
My best guess for the second room is to show that the audience in the back when fighting Nightmare King Grimm arent even alive cuz they’re bundled up together in such a manner that suggests it’s some sort of storage space. That just goes to show how powerful NKG is, to be able to bring inanimate objects to life. Imagine seeing everyone you loved bundled in a room like that like dead bodies. It’s supposed to be creepy but idk if anyone else got the vibe.
The last room seems like it’s where hornet was heading in the next game. All of her abilities seem to rely on thread so her going to this massive room of thread makes a lot of sense
While I'm not Mossbag, I'm more than certain that last room in Deepnest was Hornet's room, as in the center, there's a V-shaped mask very reminiscent to the one that Hornet wears, and since Herra birthed Hornet within Deepnest, it wouldn't be a far stretch to say that's either her room, or exactly where Hornet was birthed.
It's a stash (the Grimm room) of extra masks so that when hapless bugs join the troupe there are already masks waiting for them. Because we all know that there is only a certain number of bug faces in the game.
For me, the most *secret* location was the hidden lifeblood cacoon in the Mantis Village. It was to the top-right of the Mantis Lords arena, behind a breakable wall.

Every single time I think i've seen everything this game has to offer, i run across another video showing off something new. I never knew about the secret room in Grimm's tent.
I knew about almost all of these (proud of myself). I love how many secrets there are to find in this game. I only recently learned about the fungal cave in Kingdom's Edge after years of playing and I still always forget about it when I replay. Was definitely 😯😯😯 about the secret Grimm Troupe room though. Had no idea!

I knew about Willoh's snack room and I vaguely recall the Kingdom's Edge one but the rest were all new to me. I seriously can't believe I never tried wall jumping back up to Dirtmouth.
I remember unexpectedly finding the Shrine of Believers! I was curious when I saw a small ledge at the top left thinking a hidden room, then was astonished to see an entire dream world full of the backers!
In case anyone is wondering how deep the massive geo deposit actually is on a spatially accurate map of Hallownest, it extends well into the long descent into The Abyss, but doesn't make it all the way to any other part of The Abyss. So it isn't the deepest point on the map, but it is the deepest point on the map that isn't directly connected to any part of The Abyss.
"Yeah, everybody knows about the area near the nail master... Wait... WAIT, WHAT!?" Another one is up and to the left of the Mantis Council. Breakable wall.

The thing in this Hornet room is Seal of Binding, the same that you can find right before Path of Pain, at the end of Path of Pain and on the door of the Black Egg. Unfortunately, there are no clues what exactly could it be protecting.
ahhh but is it protecting or warding?? that is the million dollar question, we all assume protecting. But this is Hollow Knight and Team Cherry could just as easily be warding.
I thought I knew everything, but I only got 4/7 of the rooms, didn’t know about the spore shroom one, the tent secret, or the room in the weavers den. Pretty neat video!

Damn, I always try to break every wall and roof that I find for secret rooms but there are 4 rooms on this video that I didn't know about, I went to the waterfall on my playthrough but the shrine blew my mind
The grimm’s room probably is a place where you’re able to dream nail and challenge tougher version of grimm king after defeating him for the first time
After you beat Grimm the first time you are able to power up the Grimm child and then fight Grimm again as the nightmare King Grimm. But the fight does not have anything do do with this room.
0:51 Maybe those are all the Grimmkin who tried to rebel (like Brumm/Nymm) and were destroyed by Grimm. Reminds me of that other house in the Distant Village (Deepnest) where you find a bunch of wrapped-up corpses.

But as to what that reason is... unknown... it could have been something which was taken out of original design... or something that was going to be added then decided not too..

It could be a shield .... the Seal of Binding shielding you as in the knight from the dangers within, Stopping whatever is within from coming out and from whatever is out from going within. A barrier if you like between what is real and what is dream... ( In the context of the game as well none is real as it is a game but you know what mean ). The "shield" being used to define what paths can and cannot be used to breach between the two realms
hey grim troupe room is where you can hide and travel to the next place that grim troupe goes... which is pharloom. silk song has been done for over 2 years... they gonna release it when we find out how to get to pharloom. you know thats totally team cherry style.
8 bindings will open up one room. There is a whole separate area that can be unlocked that will give you an items for the hunters journal if you beat the final pantheon with all bindings
I found the shrine of believers room fully accidentally, but never found the dream nail spot until now. I was running from Revek and I accidentally double jumped onto the ledge and just kept running

I think the hornet/hollow knight room in deepnest is how seals of binding are made. Seals of binding are likely made of the silk that the weavers used and probably some magic aswell.
The hidden lore thing in the weaver's den- i think it's a sigil/seal of some sort, maybe the one that kept herrah in eternal sleep and the black egg sealed, or maybe it was made as a way to seal the bargain between herrah and the pale king. It does have a tiny version of the hollow knight's mask on it, so my bet is on the former. There are other seals scattered around the world; one at the beginning and end of the path of pain, one that appears if you try to cast a spell on the white lady, a spooky red one if you try to cast a spell in grimm's secret room, and one over the hollow knight before they are awoken. There are probably others, as well.
Hey relyea, if you are still reading this, there is a secret you missed, after you defeated the dung defender,at the tank where you can get rid of the acid of the Grove thing(not sure where exactly) and you can break the GROUND.IT HAS NO INDICATOR OF BEING FRAGILE SO NO EFFECTS IF YOU WALK ON IT
3 months ago I was sure never to watch a HK vid again. But then, I keep coming back to the game, as there is some unfinished business. And then, I have Relyea, who so gracitiously shows me that, after +130hrs of playing, I still have a lot of exploring to do. Cheers from Germany.
In Grimms room I think you need a max grimm child because when you do abyssal Shriek or something else's that's an up attack spell it'll glow the room up with red

It's the Hollow Knight. Hornet has smooth horns, the tapestry has spikes and is much more narrow than Hornet's head
In Grimm’s tent if you shoot that thing with soul in the secret room; than something will kinda happen.

Every single time I think i've seen everything this game has to offer, i run across another video showing off something new. I never knew about the secret room in Grimm's tent.

I knew about almost all of these (proud of myself). I love how many secrets there are to find in this game. I only recently learned about the fungal cave in Kingdom's Edge after years of playing and I still always forget about it when I replay. Was definitely 😯😯😯 about the secret Grimm Troupe room though. Had no idea!

I remember unexpectedly finding the Shrine of Believers! I was curious when I saw a small ledge at the top left thinking a hidden room, then was astonished to see an entire dream world full of the backers!

In case anyone is wondering how deep the massive geo deposit actually is on a spatially accurate map of Hallownest, it extends well into the long descent into The Abyss, but doesn't make it all the way to any other part of The Abyss. So it isn't the deepest point on the map, but it is the deepest point on the map that isn't directly connected to any part of The Abyss.

The thing in this Hornet room is Seal of Binding, the same that you can find right before Path of Pain, at the end of Path of Pain and on the door of the Black Egg. Unfortunately, there are no clues what exactly could it be protecting.
That is a good question. What could it be protecting... ?
ahhh but is it protecting or warding?? that is the million dollar question, we all assume protecting. But this is Hollow Knight and Team Cherry could just as easily be warding.

Damn, I always try to break every wall and roof that I find for secret rooms but there are 4 rooms on this video that I didn't know about, I went to the waterfall on my playthrough but the shrine blew my mind
The grimm’s room probably is a place where you’re able to dream nail and challenge tougher version of grimm king after defeating him for the first time
After you beat Grimm the first time you are able to power up the Grimm child and then fight Grimm again as the nightmare King Grimm. But the fight does not have anything do do with this room.

Another great Vid Relyea. Thank you as always for sharing with us all :) As to Grimm's room uptop... not sure what to make of it.... Team Cherry never just do something without a reason.... But as to what that reason is... unknown... it could have been something which was taken out of original design... or something that was going to be added then decided not too..
It seems to have a seal of binding when hitting with a spell. It could be "binding" grim to our world or the dream world...???

It could be a shield .... the Seal of Binding shielding you as in the knight from the dangers within, Stopping whatever is within from coming out and from whatever is out from going within. A barrier if you like between what is real and what is dream... ( In the context of the game as well none is real as it is a game but you know what mean ). The "shield" being used to define what paths can and cannot be used to breach between the two realms

Yes there is a secret room. If I remember right it requires you to complete all pantheons with all the bindings (or maybe just the 5th)

8 bindings will open up one room. There is a whole separate area that can be unlocked that will give you an items for the hunters journal if you beat the final pantheon with all bindings

I found the shrine of believers room fully accidentally, but never found the dream nail spot until now.
I was running from Revek and I accidentally double jumped onto the ledge and just kept running

I think the hornet/hollow knight room in deepnest is how seals of binding are made. Seals of binding are likely made of the silk that the weavers used and probably some magic aswell.

The head isnt actually hornets head, its THK/PV's head. If you look closely there are little bumps inside of the head, and it resembles PV/THK.

The hidden lore thing in the weaver's den- i think it's a sigil/seal of some sort, maybe the one that kept herrah in eternal sleep and the black egg sealed, or maybe it was made as a way to seal the bargain between herrah and the pale king. It does have a tiny version of the hollow knight's mask on it, so my bet is on the former. There are other seals scattered around the world; one at the beginning and end of the path of pain, one that appears if you try to cast a spell on the white lady, a spooky red one if you try to cast a spell in grimm's secret room, and one over the hollow knight before they are awoken. There are probably others, as well.
I would add three more: The White Lady's room, the King's Workshop and Ogrim's room. They're all pretty hard to find.

Hey relyea, if you are still reading this, there is a secret you missed, after you defeated the dung defender,at the tank where you can get rid of the acid of the Grove thing(not sure where exactly) and you can break the GROUND.IT HAS NO INDICATOR OF BEING FRAGILE SO NO EFFECTS IF YOU WALK ON IT

This was a long while ago, and idk if anyone commented about it, but in the fungal core there’s this weird fungal seed thing.
3 months ago I was sure never to watch a HK vid again. But then, I keep coming back to the game, as there is some unfinished business. And then, I have Relyea, who so gracitiously shows me that, after +130hrs of playing, I still have a lot of exploring to do. Cheers from Germany.

In Grimms room I think you need a max grimm child because when you do abyssal Shriek or something else's that's an up attack spell it'll glow the room up with red
