Fantastic Sir,I am from India,I am a great fan of your story telling and the scientific approach to history with the toppings of great insights.. continue ur great work sir..u have told in an interview that u belong to Arain community..plz make a video on history of arains with your great scientific analysis clearing whether they came from outside to Indian sub-continent or they were Hindus who later converted to Islam.
Sir,i watched ur interview with Aaliya Shah,i am amazed by the depth and width of your knowledge of history in combination with your physical visits to the historical places.
Basically,we are the same people with same culture and same languages..the brilliant minds like u can unite us and end the extremism we have against each other. It is my great desire in life to visit Katas Raj Mandir,Hinglaj Mata Mandir And Tillan Jogiyan.Again, thank u sir for making such great videos.

Dear Ravi Kumar, thank you for your kind comments. Arains like everyone else be they Awan or Pathan are all local converts. We have lived here for nearly 3000 years and have been everything, animist, Buddhist, Hindu and finally Muslim. If you ever come to Pakistan let me be your guide to Tillla Jogian and Ketas Raj.

Agricultural labour's Saini Kamboh who converted to Islam from time to time in history were given Arabic language tittle surname equivalent to their Hindu ancestry caste ARAHI.

I travelled from Chitral to Islamabad back in 2012. The van broke down due to Lowari top and had to get repaired in Dir. Another time In 2016 went from Karachi to Gawadar, the van was in bad shape, the radiator was leaking and had to constantlly fill water in it and it would heat up and we'd have to stop... I don't know but it seems like Pakistan is running on old broken vehicles or owners saving repair costs..

Sir! please do read Rahul Sankrityayan's travlogues about Iran Bilochistan and Afghanistan. He crossed Aamu dariya from north and to me it appears that only marginal changes have taken in 100 years.A Bengali writer Syed Mujtaba Ali who in 1920s went to Kabul has given an account of his travels. His experience were also similar.

There is a bengali book by Syed Mujtaba Ali 'Deshe Bideshe' where he describes a similar bus journey through khyber from landikotal to jalalabad. Your narration was as hilarious as his writing was.

I did say in the beginning that this was November 1996. When I came back to the AC's house for breakfast he told me that Benazir Bhutto's second government had been removed. You can work out the date.
