Seeing that Saffron grower leaving his family with small bag of red gold, asking his children what they wanted when he sells his Saffron, made me cry, for honest work and sacrifice.
The saffron grower and door to door salesman is an endearing character. His saffron is money while wearing a smirk. The earth feeds him and his family, and he is grateful for it. Morocco is fascinating.
I love the nature's more than of my life's🥺 Inn sha Allah one day I'll travel to Morocco when I'll have enough money to visit all of this deserted area's🤲 Take my love from Bangladesh🇧🇩🙋♂️
I went in Rabat just for a day tour in 2015 , I don't realized the life outside the city is like this. My high respect to our fellow who live in in the valley you are strong people who try to live and survive like me in my own country
My partner and self traveled from Marrakesh to Agadir through the Atlas Mountains and stopped by three villages in the mountains such amazing friendly people we were welcomed so warmly, if only the Africans were welcomed the same way in Europe India Na US Canada. ❤️🌍🌍❤️🌏🌎
@@cosmopolitanwonder9675 "Western" countries are incredibly welcome to those that come and visit, live, work and/or study. The only people NOT welcome are dangerous, drug smuggling criminals, regardless of race, religion or culture.
May God bless all such people in the world who work so hard to make a living like this. All sorts of hard labour to feed the family. And to work in diverse conditions Ameen
I have always loved the desert. One sits down on a desert dune, sees nothing, hears nothing. Yet through the silence, something throbs, and gleams.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
love & peace to maroc & its people , may you recover swiftly & painlessly from the earthquake , i was in the country with you when it struck & i now feel a unity & solidarity with you all .. good luck for the future ..
Those people live with a harmony with the ragged mountain and Nature around them which leads them to find their inner-peace and find the truth about life . Away from the bustling city you can attach to yourself . They are really happy with their strenuous work and life they accept it not try to change it . Thanks for this prolific documentary.
For those who wonder, when they say "yeah lah" it means let's go 😊 I learned it during my trips to Morocco in 2015 & 2017, Egypt and Jordan in 2021. You can make many new friends when you learn just few Arabic 😊
"yeah lah" in fact means " يا الله" ( ya Allah); the literal translation or the equivalent in English would be 'oh God!' or 'by God' which has become to mean 'let's get started' or 'let's go'. This is perfectly decent and polite as it is a wish for the help of God when you want to start something. By the way, wether you speak Amazigh or Arabic, the same expression is used.
I really pray that all these people are all right after the earthquake. Places that have stood the test to time or crumbling because of climate change. I really hope they're all right.😢
Amazing to see how other people live and work for their livelihood. Love how the saffron supports their survival. Can't wait to see Morocco next year. Hopefully, I can buy the high quality saffron in the market 😊 thank you, enjoyed watching your documentary.
I know there's another so called saffron, but you can tell the difference because the filament is thicker than the threadlike saffron, is that what you're talking about?
Lovely, exquisite journey into the past History of Morocco, and the Desert People. Great captivating footage, really makes an impression on the unique simple life of Bedouins vs. the City. Thank you. Namaste
Such tough life for man and beast and such determination. They are hardworking, happy and content. Total strangers could be completed trusted. Won't change the way of their life for anything. Very inspiring.
Inn sha Allah one day I'll visit in your beautiful country when I'll have enough money to pay for all of the costs including moroccans Visa🤲 Take my love and care from Bangladesh 🇧🇩🙋♂️
An excellent documentary greetings from Pakistan. I am herbalist doctor in Pakistan, and to hardworking Moroccans how they harvest saffron and than sale door to door salute from Pakistan. Good wishes also for Tracks team.
May God bless you Ameen for going out there to help people This is called humanity First ❤ May God bless them People who live a normal Life out there and Protect them Ameen❤🤲
If they lost track, the danger is thurist and loss of camels in the desert wilderness. It is not a simple journey with out technology 🤔🙏🏽 Big respect for caravans 🙏🏽
My brother, thank you for your words about the country, and we are the Moroccan people, and you are welcome among us at all times ❤️ But, my brother, the state of Morocco 🇲🇦 is not an Arab country, it is a North African Berber country, and this is not that we hate Arabs, no, the Arabs are our brothers in Islam, and the Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of God, so he is Arab. Therefore, we are Amazigh, and we even want the world to recognize our identity and our language😊
beautiful documentary. my only critique is that put subtitles instead of the voice over of english. it sounds distracting and strange. i want to hear their language.
Just write down “Moroccan Tamazight” on TH-cam and you’ll hear. However, there’s manyy dialects of Tamazight (the native language of North Africa from the Canary Islands to the extreme west of Egypt) in Morocco. I believe this is Tachelhit or central middle atlas Tamazight I am not sure, but I think it’s more on the Tachelhit side. Very interesting indeed ;)
What an amazing documentary! First class and I learned so much about another culture.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching! 😊✨

Same feelings of mine too
