He means it means the world to get paid, he does not care if he did why make a movie that why are you ok with Lucasfilm denigrating, negating and emasculating said characters, examples see Han, Luke, Vader, Obi wan, now Jones-all which is clear as a corporate agenda for these legacy character to be cucked by a op female insert character. And as a film goes the overuse of cgi, horrible writing-see Helena telling us how awesome she is in tuk tuk chase not showing us is clearly a problem, as well as killing established legacy characters to move the plot forward rather than just give us another serialized episode is completely not in keeping with Spielbergs Lucas vision.

The Fugitive, Witness, Presumed Innocent, Working Girl, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger - Sabrina...l mean to have a range like that and tons more still also...quite simply top of his profession all the way. I might add even including in Indy 4 the Crystal Skull. Yeah it wasn't a good 1 that is the majority view anyway but he was still actually as great in it as always has been giving it his all, it was the whole aliens storyline and fair bit of dull points of plot that was the ultimate downfall in that certainly not Harrison Ford!

I believe that Indiana Jones is beloved because he is the sum of the 20th century American / Western Epic Heroic archetype. He is equal parts Gary Cooper, Clark Gabel, Rick from Casa Blanca, Atticus Finch, The heart of the infantry that stormed Normandy and weathered Bastogne, Clint Eastwood’s “The Man With No Name, Doc Holiday, Wyatt Earp, James Bond, Han Solo, Ernest Hemingway, the ability to discern good from evil. He is so recognizable as that archetype, that one only needs to see his silhouette. People look to Indiana Jones to show us what they love about all of those characters listed and the stories and attributes they tell and represent. With Indiana Jones aging and growing old - so do the ideals he represents: courage, ingenuity, perseverance, determination, swagger, confidence, tenacity, overcoming fear of the unknown. With the fading of Indiana Jones, he is trying to tell us “don’t forget the part of me that lives in you. Throw me the idol … I’ll give YOU the whip.” That’s what Heroes do. The hero’s epic tells us about ourselves and what’s possible. Indiana Jones did that for 40 years. Have we learned from him? Will we continue to inhabit his traits? Or will we be consumed by an increasingly arbitrary culture who want to crush them? Adventure awaits. (Cue Raider’s theme)

They find the dial, but the Nazi's steal it, so Indy and Fleabag go after the Nazis to save Hitler. They all go back to 212 BCE in WW2 Bombers because the dial only goes back to that specific point in time, from this specific time, for reasons.
