I would have left the rocks clean (I mean underwater, above is ok), and use that amazing vine, with little leafs like stars, underwater to spread between an over rocks, but not too much...
I don't think I'm alone in hoping for a spin-off channel where the two of you accidentally solve crimes along the English countryside while scouting for hardscape.

I had a similar tragedy , ( I have a very docile Green Terror cichlid ) and he lived peacefully with my rainbows for months then one morning I came out to feed and they were all gone…
This is probably my favorite tank you’ve done since the accidental black water. I was sad to see it go but this is a great replacement. Sorry about your rainbows though that’s really tough

Works very well for all plants. Don't get me wrong. My plants grow without...but they are infinitely better looking and fuller with leaf zone in the water.
The subtle friendly banter thrown in every now and then is perfect. not over done or like you are tying hard. just fun and smooth and works great for your channel

I absolutely LOVE my loaches! I'd love to see you do a build for golden dojos. Mine love to bury their heads in the sand and blow it out of their gills...so cute 😍 Mine really mess with my plants...always uprooting them. Love this build and gives me new ideas for my new 85 gallon. My loaches will be getting an upgrade! I keep golden dojo, hillstream, dojo and the red tail sand loaches you have in this tank. This is an awesome tank :😀 Loving the layout and fish choice. I didn`t realise so many different "house plants" can be used with their feet in water and heaads above, it looks great and has given me something to think about. I am doing a restart on my quite large tank within the next couple of months.
I wonder if a slightly larger shoal of danio would give them more confidence. Looked a lot in the shop, but very few once in such a large tank. I do agree that this is one of your best. I do enjoy yours and Matts collaborations. Far more entertaining to watch and the videos tend to be much longer, which i enjoy.
Hey MD, you probably won’t see this but you should make a planted tank setup with a rainbow shark and tetras. Also I would like to see a another discus tank.

Had a wild idea - was watching your earlier vid where you have two tanks side by side, the SA Cichlid and Milawi tanks, when you're throwing ideas around you said about "ying and yang" and opposite flows. Would look awesome if you had one big piece of wood that spans from one tank into the other, looping up and over or something? IDK, but you make things work!

I’ve just invested in a bottle of API Leaf Zone for my crypts. Only used it once and they’ve perked up a lot already! Love it! 🍃
