- Tenzing-Hillary Airport (Lukla) in Nepal is the world's most dangerous airport. Pilots get only one landing chance due to a huge mountain at the runway's end. Approaches must navigate through mountain valleys, limiting flights to small planes. Special pilot training is required, and severe weather adds to the risk.

This is mostly known as lukla airport and an plane crash actually happened there at lukla when yeti airlines flight 101 a twin otter DHC 6 tries to land the runway but the fog and rain made it lose contact and later crash to the short of the runway out of the 19 people on board 16 passengers and 3 crew all 16 passengers died and out of the 3 crew on board the co pilot and the flight attendant died but the captain survived by Being dragged free after the crash and to this day the memorial of flight 101 sits there for the honors of people who died that crash on October 8th 2008 and every October 8th the family of their lost loved one would go to the airport and visit their graves.
What is extra eligibility for a pilot to fly to/from this airport?
