Inquisitor Ameridan was a mage, and an elf too. Yet the Chantry says he's human nobility...anybody else see a problem there? It sucks that Ameridan couldn't survive this ordeal, but then again he was eight centuries old, time doesn't tend to agree with someone who'd lived for that long. Plus, all his friends perished too, so while I hate to say it, maybe it was a good thing he found peace.

Yeah, I remember how angry I was in Origins when you meet the spirit of Shartan, who was more loyal to her than many of her human companions, and yet the Chantry cuts him out of the Chant because he's got pointy ears. After that the Chantry wiped all evidence of elves in the Chant, as if it would wipe the blood off of their hands.
Well if you read the codex about it then the elves attacked and razed an orlesian village to the ground first. So I think there was some justification for that war anyhow.
You see this is a great moment, there are few of them in this DLC but this reveals so much in so little time People can hate timed exclusive deals all they like but calling this DLC trash is pushing it when you got loads of challenging enemies and a great reveal like this
Chris Deebo I must admit I'm loving it and as with DA2 it improves on the actual game - i.e the side quests are interesting and varied and there isn't the grinding element that has been so complained about in the game. Yes there are shards and astro puzzles to find caves for those who want them but you don't have to bother with them. I'm many using the shards so I don't have to jump for the more difficult ones in the main game to complete the Temple of Pride.
Also loved the DLCs in this game. The deep roads were absolutely amazing! THE TRESPASSERS was fanfrickingtastic! Jaws of Hakon was also really good! I mean come on, on top of another high dragon to fight and plenty more insights into this world I got to judge a frigging bear! :D
I like there is a special dialogue if your an elf. ^_^ Poor Ameridan lost the best years of his life because of that dragon. Another untold tragedy has been revealed. T_T I hope can finally rest in peace with his dear beloved.
Santo Tan That's why I clicked on this because I didn't get as Sera would put it the elfy dialogue since my quizzy is a dwarf which I think is a shame - I don't see why they couldn't fangle it if you have Solas in your party for example (not Sera though because she couldn't give a crap about other elves). However I did get the Cass specific dialogue about the Rite of Tranquity and her desire to re-build the seekers.
I love how Ameridan's reflects much my main Inquisitor (except for being a mage and dating a mage too - Cassandra is my LI), he is an elf that worships both the Maker and the Elven pantheon, is uninterested with politics and cares only for adventuring.
+Letho Stormcrow Well I have a female elf mage, who is dating an elven mage (Solas) so xD I think he kind of reflects a lot of Inquisitors in certain ways.
I played through this DLC first with my mage lavellan that romanced Blackwall. I was surprised how much her and Ameridan seemed to have in common like worshiping the elven gods as well as the Maker and hating the politics that come with being Inquisitor. She rather just go adventuring with Blackwall, Dorian and Iron Bull at her side fighting demons and dragons
Why the Hell does Bioware hire such sex gods to voice their characters and why do they make said characters so suitable to their voices? My expectations for men are becoming too damn high.
Emnuzuse Alor Ah. It's hard to understand whether or not a comment is sarcastic on the internet. Too often i see women having a preposterous list of requirements for men, but thinking men should just accept them as they are.
Mr33500 I understand. It's definitely irritating to be expected to be held to such high standards. Media, especially those awful romance shows, do a brilliant job of painting a horrible, completely inaccurate image of men.
Yes, yes. I know what you mean. Same goes for anime characters. I will just give all of my love to them. At least I won't get hurt as much as in real xD
You get a bit more dialogue if you completed Cassandra's personal quest of tracking down the other Seekers. Cassandra tells him about how the rite of tranquility was used, and Ameridan mentions, he feared the rite would be misused and that his fellow Seekers promised him it would not be misused.
Loved Ameridan's story. Besides him looking exactly like my Warden if he was like 30 years older, his memories with his lover Telana and his comrades are so great.
that exact moment when your inquisitor looks 98% as Ameridan....and you didn't know of him being an elf....that's the moment when you know the same fucking thing will happen to you...i was like....fuck me...fuck me again...and fuck the chantry so so bad....
I had done this DLC like 3 times and not until I took Cassandra did I find out about the Seekers of Truth abusing the Right of Tranquility for something it was never meant to do. It broke my heart to find out that even more abuse had been heaped on the mages. It was bad enough that they were made tranquil but to find out it was never meant to be used for that purpose makes it some how harder.
what an epic scene, what an amazing character, I only wish we got more of him!!! and the voice actor who voiced him and Abelas.. damn what a voice!!! ❤️
I played a dalish mage and romanced Dorian, when the professor first said Ameridan's sweet heart was most likely the Inquisition's first mage I thought "haha, history repeats itself i see" Could not have been more right when i met him and realised he was an elf too, the way i gasped when it happened x')
Take this, it holds the last few memories of an old hunter who was neither as wise nor as strong as he thought... Says the guy who was strong enough to bind a god's soul to time and wise enough to see even this was weak. Ameridan, I guess you were something else rather than my own inquisitor.
I played this DLC some days ago, and I find it really good, though Trespasser is still the best. But this scene, the fact that you met your 800 years old "ancestor", he recognizes you and leaves his faith in you... gives thrills, and at the same time pumps up. When I played this scene I went straightway to destroy the dragon cause I wanted to avenge Ameridan. Well done BioWare.
I was happy when I found out Ameridan was an elf. (My Lavellan be like "g-great granpa? 😂") To see him that he's a dalish and also dating an elven mage and she's a dreamer, and my inquisitor is a dalish elf dating Solas who is also a frickin dreamer (but my Inky is an archer). The resemblance dammit 😂 😂
The Maker (or something like him) is real, somewhat... if Corypheus isn't a complete liar. He said he gazed upon the throne of the Maker when he entered the Black City for the first time, though it was empty. If there was a throne, then--as Sera so eloquently put it--someone's butt was on it at some point.I'm guessing it's all connected--Fen'Harel sealing away the gods, the Maker's absence, all of it.
Actually some of the gods.. Elven gods were either dreamers or powerful mages/elders who were worshipped or who's temple were worshipped by elves. The Lady of the Skies was an alamarri shaman and then a dragon I think(Because the avvars honor their deads sending "dismembered corpses" into the skies with birds)....Korth was a mortal Avvar chief. Their elder son was Hakkon. This Inquisitor mentions Andraste and the maker... So we know Andraste was real too.. But the maker?... no idea.
I was kinda surprised by the Andraste reference, but she did free the elves and Shartan, the elf leader, was one of her worshipers so it's not so strange. And we can guess that the early Chant of Light has nothing to do with what the Chantry is now.
Maybe the Maker is some kind of uber spirit like the alvar gods, or maybe he was a mortal who became much more with magic like the old Elven gods. I think we should ask to flemeth or Solas i'm pretty sure they know the truth!
Okay so, just finished this, and my Inquisitor is like the splitting image of Ameridan. For like ten seconds, I seriously considered if they molded it after what you'd chosen but then my rational brain took over and was like a) there are Lady Inquisitors as well you moron and b) that'd be way to convoluted to program. Funny thing is that not only is my Inq a Lavellan (duh), he's also a mage... history repeats itself.
+Olivia Nürnberg Martinussen I read this and laughed a little haha. Your Inquisitor is a descendent of Ameridan or something, that'd actually be pretty cool lmao. I found amusement in my own Inquisitor as well, I have an Elven mage called Talanni, kind of similar to Telana.
Ameridan was a strong mage, a honorable warrior willing to sacrifice his life for everyone. Because of that i respect him. If all mages were strong as he was, i wouldn't hate them.
As someone who adores elves (esp elves of DA) and always plays as one if given a choice, I was so happy to see that the previous inquisitor was of elven blood as well. And I trully loved how he cared about bringing both human and elven religions in one piece. That's a pretty good interpretation of peace :(
Like the base game ending was good, it was satisfying But man was it epic and satisfying to greet and have a chat with Ameridan -Inquisitor. -Inquisitor.
I know right? The soldiers talk about him being dead but the Inquisition still in need, people mention remnants of his troops scattered around. My Inquisitor even had a small coversation with Harding about why she decided to stay since Corypheus is done. He also made a pretty sarcastic remark of having ANOTHER god to kill when he learned about Hakkon.
+1Drakorn I find it even more funny if you dothis mid-game. Your Inquisitor can even remark how it's just so "Peachy" that the Hakkonites want to send ANOTHER God after him when he already has his hands full with one God-Pretender.
I was so shocked when I meet him. My inquisitor was a mage female elf, has the same face tattoo as Ameridan. First I though ah the game probably made him the same race when your pick the race. Like if you pick human, ameridan would be human as well and so on. I was sooo soo wrong lol
I didn't bring solas for this but does anybody else tell him drakon was preoccupied with darkspawns? I remember finding codex entry for that, but he came to that conclusion himself, without my companion saying that to him.
After seeing this scene, I was disappointed in the Chantry but grateful it was only fiction and never something we'd do in the real world. This was a few years before I learned that Christianity did this exact thing to so many cultures and mythologies in ages past. Then I just became angry.
I’m inclined to believe, like Tevinter, that Andraste might have probably been a mage herself. Although I don’t see the Imperial Chantry as another corrupt organization. Think about it this way: Andraste believed that although the magisters of Tevinter caused the Blights, mages still had the potential to do good, it makes more sense to me that she was also a mage, who rallied the salves to rebel against the Imperium, under the banner of the “Maker” and so on. Idk, it’s more believable than whatever bs the Orlesian Chantry says. It would also make more sense, since the Inquisition wouldn’t treat mages the same way the Orlesian Chantry did after they signed the Nevarran Accord.
This is one of my favorite DLCs in any RPG...and I meet him with my female elf mage, solas, cassandra, and elfy red Jenny, lol. We are super elfy to get the best dialogue, plus I honestly believe that female elf mage is canon.
Introducing the most badass armor in the game. I hope Dreadwolf has shit that looks so good. It's like Assassins creed robes and mail armor mashed into one.
Hell yeah. It would make sense too as a replacement for Solas. So much missed opportunities, like if someone called out to inquisitor and your character and he both reacts.
so do you think that Ameridan united with a spirit (what type of spirit i am not sure) to stop time? Seeing as he has been there for 800 years to perform his duty regardless of the consequences. I dont know but that call to action sounds very similar to that of Anders and in some cases Solas... Amerdian may of had the help of a spirit in order to perform a massive feat (stopping time) as he said he could not kill the Hakkon with his magic on its own. Anders willingly took the aid of a spirit of Justice to aswell perform a massive feat (making the world aware to the oppression of mages) as he alone could not do it. Solas however does show some similarities alike to the situation of both Ameridan and Anders, but points out some key differences as well. Since Solas predates the creation of the veil and existed in a time where as he says "The fade was not a place one went but a state of nature like the wind... imagine a world where imagination defines reality, where spirits are as common as trees or grass". This may mean that Solas (which name translates to PRIDE) may have become a physical embodiment of a spirit of Wisdom due to the creation of the veil (as spirits may need a physical form to exist for extended periods of time in a world that is so far from the fade) as it is said that when a spirit is sidetracked or turned from its purpose they become a demon. ... perhaps this is why we are told by Morrigan that her mother Flemeth/ Mythal inhabits bodies in order to continue to exist in a world without the fade. And in accordance to the Dalish was the patron of motherhood and Justice. Meaning that, and as shown with the interaction between Flemeth/ Mythal, Morrigan and Kieran, Mythal wishes to be avenged in a reckoning that will shake the very heavens. Which can be assumed that Mythal may be a spirit of Justice turned Vengeance. HOWEVER I do believe that alike Anders, Ameridan took the assistance of a spirit (whether he was inhabited by one im not sure) As spirits exist without form, taking on a physical form without the existence of the veil, a spirit may be turned form its purpose. Explaining why Ameridan has existed for 800 years when he was clearly not meant to, because he took the aid of a spirit turned from its purpose. (idk what type though sorry). There is further evidence that supports this theory that Solas may be the physical embodiment of a spirit, betrayed by what can be assumed Mythal. Banter between Cole at the winter place in Tresspasser DLC: Cole: “He did not want a body, but she asked him to come. He left a scar when he burned her off his face.” and "Bare-faced but free, frolicking, fighting, fierce. He wants to give Wisdom, not orders." We can theorise that Cole is directly referring to Solas in this banter because if you look closely on Solas' face there is a very clear scar just above his brow that does look very similar to a burn scar. Yet unfortunately in true dragon age fashion, DLC continues to raise more questions than it answers, making me curious... Could a spirit wear the vallaslin or was Solas with form wearing the vallaslin but rebelled and against mythal removing the vallaslin and hence leaving him with a scar?? If the theory is correct, Solas shows to acts of rebellion, one against mythal and another against the rest of the pantheon. And as we have heard from herself, mythal has come for a reckoning that will shake the very heavens. Now while I believe that Solas will play a very large part of Dragon age 4, I believe that two of the bigger and much larger threats that we will see in the future of the games is Mythal, Red lyrium and the Titans. As it is heavily theorised (but not confirmed i dont think), Red lyrium is blood of the Titans and has been heavily referred to "sing" by multiple characters throughout the dragon age games. Mythal does very briefly make mention to this saying Mythal: "... Alas, so long as the music plays we dance". Would she bend to the will of the Titans? Does she or Solas have a power over them or intend to awake them? I dont know. One thing is for sure regardless of Mythal's, Solas' or the inquisitors plans. They share a very real and common super power that threatens all of Thedas and that is what is planned next for the Titans. This post took on a life on its own i am very sorry. let me just state however that all of this is theory and in NO WAY fact. I'm just having fun based on what the game has provided the players information on. :)
I'm playing DAI for the first time and I was suprised by the fact my inquisitor was also a dalish elf mage with green eyes and gray hair, like Ameridan. I thought Ameridan's look was some algorithm result to match your character in some narrative way but not, just a curious coincidence.
You know, I was just about to make a joke about asking you if you wanted to see one, but that might be considered sexual harassment, so, ill just pretend that I made the joke.
FluffyNinjaLlama Thanks for the answer! I have a request, can you do a video with this armor(if you have the armor) and show how she look please? (Sorry for my lack of skill in english, I'm french)
Yeah, you get a bit shocked when you hear how RECENT all the events actually were. The big fight of good and evil, the creation of the darkspawn, everything that gets pushed back millenia (LOTR for examples) all happened "only" 1000 years ago.
He was too weak to kill the Dragon. All he could do was seal them both in time. So when he died the seal was broken and the Dragon was freed without dying.
+Rabid Ducking Oreo Milkshake Nah, that wasjust the bind tying them together. He died because there'sno way for a mortalto live for 800 years. He was alive only because his essence was tied to Hakkon. He dies not because anyone killed him, but because one Hakkon freed himself he was once again mortal and thus his body could not withstand all the passage of time. He is a quickened elf like allthe others, not an Ancient Elf.
Wait I don't remember this at all...maybe I didn't do this DLC? I played Trespasser for sure...and then the one underground with the Titan...what did I miss?
That dlc quest can be started as low as 15 or 20 I think because the dark roads are like 20 so the jaws can be more or something eles the finale dlc is like 30 plus so ya
first time i meet Ameridan, I was in surprise. my ''baby'' is a mage female elf romancing egghead (Solas), the same as Ameridan, its just that he is a male elf mage dating a female elf mage. so the first thing in my mind was, SHIT is my baby gonna ending up like you? history is going to repeat itself? my poor Baby Elfy is being forgotten and style a ''HUMAN'' insted? and her lover ''the egghead (Solas)'' is dying trying to dream of my poor baby?? WOOW sadface, SUCK romance ... heading off finding a corner to cry! What have choice for my poor Elfy Baby, thinking it was for her best?
+LittleLoveIce well...Solas is a the elven god of fear and tricks....and he will betray you....but as you commented this 2 months ago...you probably already now that lol :)))
hahaha, from Dragon Age i got the lesson, of ALWAYS READ spoilers, before starts a game. Coz tbh, i was going to romance Dorian (yeah i had no idea he was gay -_-) but even before i got to dorian, i chat with Solas... fking smooth talker... i never manage to get to Dorian, and entering a relationship with Solas... to my big fat regret...as everyone knows woot happens.... my poor baby no matter what, she got a heartbroken ening.... thx Solas
can you upload a video that show how to make that inquisitor because mine does not look as well and I want to change it if Bioware releases DLC with the face altering mirror.
Igor Karnovski Ameridan was a Halamshiral elf, not an ancient elf. A lot of ancient elven culture was forgotten or misinterpreted even by the time of Halamshiral (which came quite a while after Elvhenan fell), so we can probably assume that the elves of Halamshiral were already wearing the vallaslin without understanding of its true meaning, just like the Dalish.
Solas is an ancient elf, one of the immortal kind IIRC. Ameridan was born much later, when Arlathan was already destroyed and Elves lived in the Dales and lost their immortality.
@@Hjalmar_an_Craite but isnt Solas mortal since the fade and reality were split? How does that make him any different from Ameridan and the rest of the Dailish elves if he himself confirmed that Elves no longer have that type of connection to the fade?
@@Hjalmar_an_Craite it just doesnt add up. Solas was in a deep slumber, Ameridan was bound to a time spell. If Solas had awoken, wouldn't he have disappeared to dust as well due to the presence of time?
@@ghaldurinanubios4290 When he says that elves no longer have that type of connection to the fade I think he doesn't count himself among them. He doesn't consider Dalish and city elves as his people. And honestly, we don't even know if Solas is still immortal (my bad), but he was in uthenera - that is something totally different than Ameridan's time spell. Otherwise Abelas and other sentinels, who are in uthenera unless someone disturbs the temple, would also turn into dust after waking.
How long is the dlc? i imagine is not as big/long as awakening but i can always hope for something similar again (i mean new levels, classes, maps, missions and companions? that dlc was technically another game and i loved it)
Its basically a more polished and beautiful zone, with slightly more interesting content, high end rewards, and actually some cutscenes instead of more filler conversations. They tried to add to the endgame while still giving players some more concentrated story. From what I've seen, that was only half successful. Its only about a few to several hours if you focus on the storyline, but much more if you're completionist. Its Lv 20+ (I think some people saw some Lv 30 enemies but that could be a bug), and is better than the base game at Character and Influence leveling. Tier 4 crafting too. No new companions, just the existing ones with new lines. (There's no plans for any full party member DLC.)
+Malcolm Swoboda The level 30 enemies were not a bug but part of a scripted bonus fight. If you try to loot the bunch of money hidden in the small island southeast Four level 30 despair demons will try to rip you a new one.
Malcolm Swoboda I also know I'm commenting late but personally I found this DLC's main quest about as long, if not longer, than Dragon Age 2's DLC. They always made it clear that Dragon Age Awakening was their last actual Expansion, so judging it solely as a DLC on par with those of DA 2 it does it job and actually feels like something new rather than a story that they cut out of the main game (unlike all of Mass Effect's DLC which were literally a bunch of things they decided not to add to the actual games).
I loved awakening too and loved the story and the new classes as well. My favorite part is the mine. I like starting from scratch and getting my stuff back

I like how Solas or Abelas have that ancient elves accent when they speak their language but when Dalish, are trying to speak it, it sound different.

“I’m already fighting one would be god, I can fight another.” Oh and don’t forget the one beside you too....
The Inquisitor is the most badass of the big 3. Killed a would be God. Killed a God. Slayed Dragons all over. Faced the power of a Titan & lived.
Why the Hell does Bioware hire such sex gods to voice their characters and why do they make said characters so suitable to their voices? My expectations for men are becoming too damn high.
And what do you have to offer men?
+Mr33500

Emnuzuse Alor Ah. It's hard to understand whether or not a comment is sarcastic on the internet.
Too often i see women having a preposterous list of requirements for men, but thinking men should just accept them as they are.
Mr33500 I understand. It's definitely irritating to be expected to be held to such high standards. Media, especially those awful romance shows, do a brilliant job of painting a horrible, completely inaccurate image of men.
Yes, yes. I know what you mean. Same goes for anime characters. I will just give all of my love to them. At least I won't get hurt as much as in real xD
I really like the voice actor of Ameridan. Very skilled
same voice abelas. omg im wet
You get a bit more dialogue if you completed Cassandra's personal quest of tracking down the other Seekers. Cassandra tells him about how the rite of tranquility was used, and Ameridan mentions, he feared the rite would be misused and that his fellow Seekers promised him it would not be misused.
Ameridan needs his own book...
Loved Ameridan's story. Besides him looking exactly like my Warden if he was like 30 years older, his memories with his lover Telana and his comrades are so great.
"Take moments of happiness where you can find them. The world will take the rest"
what a cool guy
that exact moment when your inquisitor looks 98% as Ameridan....and you didn't know of him being an elf....that's the moment when you know the same fucking thing will happen to you...i was like....fuck me...fuck me again...and fuck the chantry so so bad....
And it truly did. All the efforts of Inquisitor been shoved aside vecause the chantry doesn't need it anymore..
Goddamn, Ameridan looks so cool!
God Bless Ameridan.
2:30 dragon head moves
At 2:29, does the dragon turn its head to follow the conversation? oO
it does.
Now I can't unsee it
...well, he did say that it was breaking free.
2:28 that dragon twitched! Everytime I watch this scene it does that! So eerie...
what an epic scene, what an amazing character, I only wish we got more of him!!! and the voice actor who voiced him and Abelas.. damn what a voice!!! ❤️
2:53 Solas on the background: *Nervous sweating*
The first time I played this I was so damn confused because my Lavellan looked almost exactly like Ameridan, just a bit younger.
SO GLAD I ROLLED DALISH MAGE MY FIRST TIME AROUND
I love this scene, it's awesome in it's relevance to what is happening and gives a view of thadas that you didn't have before...
I was happy when I found out Ameridan was an elf. (My Lavellan be like "g-great granpa? 😂")
To see him that he's a dalish and also dating an elven mage and she's a dreamer, and my inquisitor is a dalish elf dating Solas who is also a frickin dreamer (but my Inky is an archer). The resemblance dammit 😂 😂
So the avvar gods are real too (their spirit at least).
I tend to believe that all the "false" gods in Thedas are real except for the Maker :p
Maybe not the Maker as he's described in the Chantry, maybe he's an elven god, an avvar one or another race's god
I discovered having finished Promise of Destruction (Cassandra's personal quest), it brings up a special dialogue.
the music is all game of thrones vibe, love it! :B
This dlc have the best writing ever. Dialogues is funny and fun. Characters personality felt real too.
Wow! Didn't see that coming...... i assumed inquisitor ameridan was dead! So that was a complete shock! I'm so getting this dlc from Xbox live!
Just completed this DLC and it’s awesome! Currently working on the others
I'll miss you ancient elf dad...
Boogie, woogie, woogie ;-;💙
As someone who adores elves (esp elves of DA) and always plays as one if given a choice, I was so happy to see that the previous inquisitor was of elven blood as well.
And I trully loved how he cared about bringing both human and elven religions in one piece. That's a pretty good interpretation of peace :(
Meeting him as and elf was special. Wanted to call him brother.
Like the base game ending was good, it was satisfying
But man was it epic and satisfying to greet and have a chat with Ameridan
-Inquisitor.
-Inquisitor.
this dlc looks really good
My canon Inquisitor is a male elf mage with the vallaslin of Ghilan'nain. I felt so close to Inquisitor Ameridan during this whole mission :D
I’d love a prequel about the first Inquisitor, Inquisitor Ameridan the Elven Mage. Like he seems badass in a calm way.
If you play after the endgame, people reference you fighting Corypheus :D its nice to hear
This content is done better as postgame quests.
I was so shocked when I meet him. My inquisitor was a mage female elf, has the same face tattoo as Ameridan. First I though ah the game probably made him the same race when your pick the race. Like if you pick human, ameridan would be human as well and so on. I was sooo soo wrong lol
Rest well inquisitor ameriden may andraste welcome you
And may the elven gods welcom you as well because he worshiped both not just one
I didn't bring solas for this but does anybody else tell him drakon was preoccupied with darkspawns? I remember finding codex entry for that, but he came to that conclusion himself, without my companion saying that to him.
In my game it was Dorian who said it.
3:26 they use this falling animation a few times in the game and I laugh everytime I see it.
anybody wish we got Ameridan as a party member early on in the game through a DLC like Mass Effect 3 did with Javik?
Holy shit that would be so cool
Hell yeah. It would make sense too as a replacement for Solas. So much missed opportunities, like if someone called out to inquisitor and your character and he both reacts.
OMG He is so cool... he is my crush now... I know it’s impossible, but I want the Ameridan romance, please😂
so do you think that Ameridan united with a spirit (what type of spirit i am not sure) to stop time?
Since Solas predates the creation of the veil and existed in a time where as he says
"The fade was not a place one went but a state of nature like the wind... imagine a world where imagination defines reality, where spirits are as common as trees or grass".
Banter between Cole at the winter place in Tresspasser DLC:
Cole: “He did not want a body, but she asked him to come. He left a scar when he burned her off his face.”
and
"Bare-faced but free, frolicking, fighting, fierce. He wants to give Wisdom, not orders."
We can theorise that Cole is directly referring to Solas in this banter because if you look closely on Solas' face there is a very clear scar just above his brow that does look very similar to a burn scar.
Mythal does very briefly make mention to this saying
Mythal: "...
I now really want the dlc! damn you EA/BW for only doing it for PC/Xbox One (i have a 360)
What armor is Cassandra Wearing? It look cool
I was laughing at the fact the inquisitor looks exactly like my character.
So, Ameridan was not the first inquisitor?
no the inquisition was there for a while he was the last inquisitor before they disbanded
aaaand this looks so much more better on the ps4
but the FPS is probably worse than my homemade sextapes.
The Elderworm wtf
You know, I was just about to make a joke about asking you if you wanted to see one, but that might be considered sexual harassment, so, ill just pretend that I made the joke.
Is it possible to win the inquisitor stuff?!
The inquisitor look just amazing
Tony Nguyen You get his armor + schematic for all classes for it. Don't know about his staff.
FluffyNinjaLlama Thanks for the answer!
I have a request, can you do a video with this armor(if you have the armor) and show how she look please?
(Sorry for my lack of skill in english, I'm french)
Tony Nguyen
I'm wearing it here:
th-cam.com/video/NpZVPfj0HV0/w-d-xo.html
and here:
th-cam.com/video/P8xKXoQ4isk/w-d-xo.html
FluffyNinjaLlama Thank you!
You are one of my favorite youtubeur!
Tony Nguyen
Aww thank youuu :)
...could it be? The first black elf in the whole fucking series of the game?
+Legend Onyx Taco I'd say he's more tanned.
Legend Onyx Taco whom are you talking about?
“Inquisitor” 🤝 “inquisitor”
Omg
Llama-san, are there any new schematics in this DLC?
Yes schematics, weapons and armor
FluffyNinjaLlama A lot of Tier 4 stuff, definitely nice.
The world would take the rest. Damn.
only 800 years? i was under the impression that the previous inquisition ended almost 2000 years ago (By Thedas calendar)
Yeah, you get a bit shocked when you hear how RECENT all the events actually were. The big fight of good and evil, the creation of the darkspawn, everything that gets pushed back millenia (LOTR for examples) all happened "only" 1000 years ago.
1Drakorn
yeah, 1000 years ago must have been a really crap year for lots of bad stuff to have happened all at once
Sad that we can't save Ameridan... Wait why does Ameridan die but not the dragon ?
He was too weak to kill the Dragon. All he could do was seal them both in time. So when he died the seal was broken and the Dragon was freed without dying.
jamal munir Oooooh...Well that make sensé !
From what I can see, the magic behind him was sapping his lifeforce away I think.
How the hell did you finish that quest at level 20?
That dlc quest can be started as low as 15 or 20 I think because the dark roads are like 20 so the jaws can be more or something eles the finale dlc is like 30 plus so ya
This dlc got me cursing the chantry so much
first time i meet Ameridan, I was in surprise. my ''baby'' is a mage female elf romancing egghead (Solas), the same as Ameridan, its just that he is a male elf mage dating a female elf mage. so the first thing in my mind was, SHIT is my baby gonna ending up like you? history is going to repeat itself? my poor Baby Elfy is being forgotten and style a ''HUMAN'' insted? and her lover ''the egghead (Solas)'' is dying trying to dream of my poor baby??
Fucking Shemlin Venegance for the dales!
OMG! So awesome!
What does Ameridan give you? It’s like he offers you something...I don’t get it.
He missed out so much 😢
it is so funny that the last inquisitor was an elf mage and then if the current one is a dwarf Templar so amusing
Is Jaws of Hakkon worth it? I don't buy DLC unless it's really good or has important plot missing. The only reason I bought Trespasser and Awakening.
In my opinion, yes. You could just download it and you would get it for free.
It doesn't seem ameridan has frozen hakkon to well the dragons moves its head at 2:30
Whoa. Since when was Sera so hot?
When she's not speaking lewd remarks. ^_^
When she is not in the screen
2:30 Did Hakkon just move?
Wait, Ameridan has markings in his face? Was he a slave then, or am I remembering something wrong?
Igor Karnovski Ameridan was a Halamshiral elf, not an ancient elf. A lot of ancient elven culture was forgotten or misinterpreted even by the time of Halamshiral (which came quite a while after Elvhenan fell), so we can probably assume that the elves of Halamshiral were already wearing the vallaslin without understanding of its true meaning, just like the Dalish.
Oh okay, thanks for clearing that up!
Epsilonyx so original Dalish before the Dalish got effed.
Can anyone tell me where the first half of jaws of hakkon ends as well as where the first half of the descent ends please and thank you
What is the armor that Cassandra's wearing?
It doesnt make sense... the sands of time should have agreed to let him live on since HE'S AN ELF!
How the fuck is Solas still walking?
Sounds like the same voice as Fenris
what a deep dark fantasy....
LeonGun8 Thanks.
I like starting from scratch and getting my stuff back
I don't have internet, so I haven't played this dlc yet.
Go in Peace to andraste
I wonder, though. If you've finished the game before playing this DLC, what happens to Solas?
Does he only disappear if you romanced him?
He always disappears, but I played this DLC before fighting Cory.
Thanks ^^
Yeah, that makes sense.
I can't wait to hunt him down in a future DLC though
