This puts Solas's action into much better context, both him and the old inquisitor "went to sleep" thinking they were leaving the world a better place only to wake up and find things didn't go the way they were meant to at all and that everything they did was for nothing
Except that Ameridan is hopeful and content with leaving “the world in good hands” whereas Solas feels the need to correct the world himself. Granted Ameridan doesn’t really have a choice about whether he gets to continue living or not but at least, with what little time he got to spend and learn from his successor, he seems to be at peace with the idea that he’s done what he could as the Inquisitor and that his successor could succeed where he has failed. Solas however doesn’t have that, which is fitting since he’s lived for so long that he never had a successor of sorts and therefore feels the need to take action himself for fixing what he believes are his mistakes after the events of DA:I.

I believe she will succeed but only for a generation or two. People tend to forget the founding principles of an Order as Time goes on tho I really like Cassandra's personality.
No they wont. Cassandra is dumb as a rock and way too naive, she believes in good and evil and is too conservative, as a Divine she rebuilds the chantry and templars exactly as they were, so the Seekers will be the same as well, give it 8 or 800 years and it will be the same corruption.

Wow...I watched this scene quite often and this is literally the first scene, where I hear an Inquisitor say that they're somewhat cool with being Inquisitor. I was always wondering, when I watched this: 'Where are the Inquisitors, who actually enjoy their job?'. We don't all have to be sad about being Inquisitor.

With the inquisition crest on his vest, I assume it's either the variations of superior battlemage/battlemaster/prowler armor depending on the armor type. Although, the armor doesn't appear to be equipped with its respective gears, it could be a combination. Battlemage armor with battlemage coat/mail arms and so on.

In a way, he's the opposite of Corypheus - waking up centuries later and horrified by what they find, but for entirely different reasons.

God... that voice. It's Abelas isn't it? The voice actor. I hope they use this voice actor in the next Dragon Age game (as a love interest
I hope so to, Ameridan's voice is oddly enticing.
The most attractive elf voice. If they wont make it into love interest, then make it as our PC

I really don't understand how you made a qunari so attractive! You should get an award xD

FluffyNinjaLlama WITCH !
Well, take off the horns and he looks 100% human (unlike the Bull) so that must be the trick I guess.
The voice acting is world class here. Seriously they need to bring this voice actor as a companion in DA Dreadwolf. Like an elf companion.
Same guy as Abelas, there’s always a chance he is a companion if you don’t kill him.
Ameridan is the man. I straight up fangirled when I met him the first time and realized it was him.
I hope Cassandra's Seekers would be amazingly epic. And less corrupted. ^_^

Is there any explanation as to why he speaks in perfectly idiomatic common tongue when Corypheus didn't in Legacy?
Corephys is way older than the first Inquisitor.
Corypheus is among one of the first to be alive after the veil was created.

Do you get an option to say the Seekers are no more if you told Cassandra to forget about them?
ameridan can't recognize the race of adaar, does that mean the kossiths didn't arrive in thedas at the time the dales had not yet been destroyed?
My Inquisitor also had green eyes
How does a dalish elven mage end up as a friend to a human king?
Then again probably the same way you do in origins
The Dales themselves were still a thing at the time.
Is Ameridan's staff available in anyway within the game???
I don't think so
Only his amor. I think as a mage only
I'd look at it and say "this is a piece of shit" and sell it anyway judging by how my armour had already outclassed his by a good 60 points
What mage armor is that your wearing? If it’s crafted then what scematic?

Why does he not talk about the fact that your qunari?

You have to complete her personal quest to get that dialogue option. It is availabel regardless of race, so long as the quest is completed prior
what armor is that in the inquisitor?
Why did Ameridan think the Qunari was of Drakens empire were they even apart of thedas at the time
Why not? He probably thought the Empire had spread enough to assume the Inquisitor was a subject of that Empire.

You don't, you need to go to the DLC zone before finishing the game if you want Solas with you.
