This has to be my favorite performance of her on Immortal Songs. But I do like her version of "Lost" and "If I Leave". She's such a skilled pansori singer. Especially for being in her teenage years. I'm very impressed.

This was beautiful. Literally gave me chills. She also felt the emotion of this song seeing how she was teary eyed at the end.
Her singing voice gently comforts me when I'm feeling dark. The reason is that her voice gives hope and courage for tomorrow.
She started singing at very young age if I'm not wrong she enter in Korea sing contest at the age 5 years or 6 and won.

I watched her in Talent for sale with Kim Jong Kook. When Jong Kook tried to singing behind the waterfall his voice couldnt be heard by people who passing by, but when she is the one who did it her voice could be heard clearly by people so they stopped by. Imagine it with her tiny body she beat muscular body KJK lol Mind blow! :D

Do you know the violin? It is a small instrument but makes a loud sound (if played properly). This is called resonance, a resonance cavity amplifies sound and also adds extra texture to it. The voice produced by the vocal cords isn't very loud. But the human body is a nice resonance cavity. If you learn to use it properly, it will amplify the voice and make it sound concentrated, powerful, bright, and colorful. However, if you are not trained to sing properly, you cannot project your voice properly into the resonance cavities of the human body and your voice may sound weak, dry, and low in volume.

Yes, understanding a language in its original form would open a window into another soul and paradigm. There is something about the cadence of the Korean language that strikes at the heart of emotions and the expression of it. Personally, I am always moved by it.

I'm Korean American. I heard songs when she was little. It's amazing how she has grown, by now 2023 where is she. She has such a beautiful voice. She brings me to tears, some of the songs she sings. She brought me back to the memories when I was living in Korea. Listening to some of her songs was sang in the past.

It’s just after 5am and I was lying in bed trying to get back to sleep, thinking too many thoughts to succeed. And then this song, which I first heard 6 years ago came into my head. And even though I don’t understand the language, the sounds of So Hee’s incredible voice were going through my mind, reminding me of what a masterpiece this performance is. So I just had to go get my iPad and listen to it now. Beautiful! 💖
