I bought the same bundle, but the next day I returned it to Micro Center and purchased the R5 racing bundle. It was 100% worth the money. save money get the r5
I have it for 2 years, more or less and i bought it second handed, it looked New. Only a scratch. I still love it. I bought it cheap. It was an amazing deal.
@ProjectBlackview I wish I knew about direct drive wheels before I made the purchase if I'm honest, I only paid £250 for the g923 with H shifter from amazon so it's not a big loss 🙂
@ ok yeah that’s not a big loss that’s cheaper than I’ve seen them. And you can sell the g923 for about 50 below msrp that’s the good thing about them a great resale value
What adapter cable are you using to not have to reach towards the back of the ps5 every time? I got a usb extension cable and the auto calibration procedure on the g923 went haywire.
true force is totally underrated. even just sitting at the start line revving the engine and feeling that subtle vibration even before you move is just so cool. the G923 is really cool imo
I’m with you honestly. Had the 923 for Xbox and got the g29 due to shipping speed to use on PS5 pro vr. Had so much fun with it and quite a bit disappointed with the 29 comparatively that I just bought the Logitech pro system lol. If I can ever find the Xbox wheel hub it can be used on all 3 platforms! Kinda a lot for a video game but it’s so much fun!
I feel like a buttkicker can achieve the same thing as true force, with the benefit of it not being relegated to a very budget wheel using 20 year old tech, or an overpriced wheel with a small ecosystem.
@@kidsimracing I disagree… I have two LFE models and one of the cheaper ones for reference included with two SVS PC-13 ultra subs. The buttkicker adds awesome immersion but isn’t exactly the same. Maybe try it first.
@@kidsimracing To add on to what I said earlier it’s just further customization to the experience. I was a bit annoyed when making the comment because I get sick of people discounting things that they clearly have never tried. That said you are right in terms of buttkicker having a bigger overall impact but that’s not everything. My subs can make so much bass that these products would be pointless but the sound quality wouldn’t be right. I can blend the subs to sound properly and use the buttkicker for added impact. The true force adds even another level of customization that does truly make a difference. It’s beyond just a gimmick in my opinion and is incredible in the pro wheel but that’s a decent investment. I suppose I do agree in some capacity about the buttkicker being a more universal solution but even owning them, I still find the true force function to be an incredible addition even if it’s essentially doing the same thing on a smaller scale.
Only thing I don't like is how small the wheel is. I have a G923 and I'm new to race sim, is there anything out there comparable to the steering wheel of a standard car IRL?
Yes ther is u can put one in logi too but base is too weak to support a bigger one u need to atleast have a t300 or a direct drive wheel to use real steerings
