Just saw Pat Travers last night (29-Sep-23) was awesome! If you get a chance I would highly recommend to go see him if you're a PT fan, also a super nice guy on top of being a legend.
I have the pleasure of singing happy birthday to him at a Vancouver Washington concert and got a handful of Pat Travers ass he was quite surprised and we were both very happy
One of the greats and soundtrack to my adolescence! Seen half a dozen times and had the fortune of meeting him once ... great guy!!! Love PTB Pete Woodroffe Music UK
I saw Pat 3 times in the 70's, always a good show. Memories here for real. Btw, tickets were under $10 wow most were $7. Now days hundreds' of thousands $$ NO band is worth those prices.
And rocking a Paul Reed Smith, the best of the best. Using a Blackstar amp: hmmm ... adequate, but not top-tier, right? I mean, Soldano, EVH, Mesa Boogie, etc., no? But his sound, as always, is right on the money. He could probably get a good sound playing through his cellphone.
dweezel theyounger I don't think so... Naa, BUT , N. CAGE IS A FAN! &, "allegedly " Insisted on, The song, " I, La La La Love you " [ album, Black Pearl ] on, one of Cage's first movies, [ Vally Girl ]
I agree. Pat hasn't had a smokin, tight touring band since the early 90s, like the band that recorded the Live VHS - "Pat Travers - Boom Boom Live at the Diamond Club in Toronto". That Pat Mckim guitarist he used in the early 2000's was very bland and not a good fit for Pat's live band.
I miss Pat playing his double-cutaway Sunburst Gibson with the Kahler. PRS are WAY-overrated and thin sounding. As Wendy's Hamburgers used to say in the '80s - "Where's the Beef??" lol
Overlooked and underrated! Pat if you see this, thanks for all the decades of great music and memories!!🎸
Totally Ripping It Here! The One And Only Pat Travers! Phenomenal Guitarist!!!
THE man will always deliver
Just love Pat. Fantastic memories. A legend forever.
Man still ripping! I saw him in 1983 at Brassy's (behind the glass bank) and the following week was Robin Trower!
Lord have mercy!! I wish I could relive those years!
So wish I'd been at that gig!! Great version of that song

Hottttt!
Too slow and drummer keeps lagging behind.

Decent performance but gtr tone is not up to spec
live recording on a Zoom.
:)
I think the drummer is very stiff. Pat is always brilliant.
He's keeping it straight and solid to my ears.
@@stratcat7162 No doubt. If they were any tighter they'd snap.
And the hair blows!
