That's the lineup that I saw in March of '78 opening for Rush at he old Hollywood Sportatorium, Pat, Mars and Tommy with no second guitar. Wikipedia says that Pat Thrall had joined thebans atthat point, but he was not with them for theSouth Florida show. That was the tail end of the Putting it Straight Tour and I think that they went right into Bayshore Studios after that to Record Heat IN The Street because it came out in late '78 and the live record was that tour mostly recorded in early 1979 close to their home base at the Olympia Theater in Miami (called Gusman Hall back then) and the Great Southern Music Hall in Gainesville with a some tracks from Austin. I saw the 4 man lineup with a new drummer, Sandy Gennaro I think, when he took Ozzy's place at the Orange Bowl Foreigner show after Randy was killed. The nest time I saw him was for free in like winter of 1988-89 on Clearwater Beach when he was kind of down on his luck. I don't remember who the drummer was for that show, but Mars was back playing bass. It may have been a one off show. I think that he had moved to Pinellas County from Miami because I saw him do a guest shot with Ted Nugent at the fairgrounds in Tampa opening for the Brian Howe led version of Bad Company not too many years after that..
2nd guitar is Micky Dyche - I saw PT and that band on that very tour in 1977, Birmingham Town Hall (supported by Cafe Jacques), my first ever gig! I remember watching this TV show when it aired, I seem to recall the second half was Lone Star?

Clive Edwards on drums.
2nd guitar is Micky Dyche - I saw PT and that band on that very tour in 1977, Birmingham Town Hall (supported by Cafe Jacques), my first ever gig! I remember watching this TV show when it aired, I seem to recall the second half was Lone Star?
Micky Dyche
Someone should have told the cameraman that Pat Thrall was also in the band.
