For the product that I picked from www.ecowoodtreatment.com there wasn't any color selection, it is just this one color. All it does is basically speed up the natural aging process of the wood. One the thumb nail picture the fence portion on the left was done with the same product and is probably 5 years old at the time of the picture, so you can get a good sense of the color after some time has passed.
Wondering about application on a treated wood fence that was installed 3 years ago. The colour is starting to wane but not totally off yet. Can I apply this product or will the result be uneven due to the colourization of the treated lumber?
You could, but I think you would end up using a lot of extra product and it would take you 20 times longer. The spray cans you can get at Princess Auto, or Harbor Freight pretty inexpensively.
Hi, awesome video! How was the overall smell of the product. Im considering buying this product because traditional stain smells soooo strong. please let me know what you think. Thanks for the video.
It is holding up great. I have only had it on for a few months now. but the neighbor's fence was done in the same manner with the same product and is still looking great 5 years after application.
No you don't have to wash your fence first. Although I would clean off anything that would prevent the product from getting the wood wet. So a little dirt is ok, but a big clump or mud would need to be removed.

Great video. What stain color did you select?

They have several color options now. The gray finish is the least expensive though
@@brandonbrooks6780 Thanks, that is great information. Must be new.

Do you have to clear coat after?
No, this is the full process. It is as simple as that. One coat and forget about it for life.
@@ResearchDesignBuild thank you
i love the sprayer idea - can you use brushes too?

How much area does the 22 liters cover?

There is no smell what so ever to this product. Once mixed with the water you might as well just be praying straight water on the fence.
How is the treated wood holding up now please?

@@ResearchDesignBuild that's great to know, thanks 👍
@@wesleydavis8786 Not a Problem, It's a great product
Can you use a commercial paint sprayer to apply this product. I have a large fense. Over an acre. Both sides , so thats 2 acres of fence.
Yes you can. It’s way easier to just use a tank sprayer though.
Did you wash the fence prior to applying the product? Thanks.

Will this work for a deck?
yes it would work on a deck as well. Not sure how it would wear, but it would be very easy to touch up.
Is this fence western red cedar?
Yes I believe it is.
I heard it can be tinted. .
