This was the best mock introduction to any of his videos. ever.
The funny thing is, nuts and bolts ended up that way because of rare itself. They tought a collectathon wouldn't have sold well. SIGH
A lot of people use Microsoft as the reason for their downfall and while that may have accelerated things Rare began their decline while they still went by Rareware. Their last 2 games on the 64 didn't sell well and they failed to adapt to the new generation. Internal issues and key tem members leaving didn't help, mix that with Nintendo having lack of faith and not funding them as much the Rare we knew and loved had changed. The Rareware back in it's prime was like a well oiled machine, each member was a cog in the machine, all it takes is for crucial staff to leave and the whole operation crumbles.
Sea of Thieves has been doing quite well lately and if they made a sequel to Banjo Kazooie who knows how it'd turn out. I don't know but I hope Microsoft focuses on bringing in the games with the talent they've acquired because when it comes to value they hold the crown.

@@consolepcgamer6746 Yeah, the problem with buying out a company is a lot of the staff that made that company what it is typically leave for fear of creative restrictions. And since gamers typically associate games with companies, not developers, when the inexperienced replacement staff releases a subpar or even decent but different title, gamers see the same company logo and assume the only thing different is the new parent company, and so blame them.

it turns out they don't actively record you but for you can still get reported from other players in the party. but everything else in the update is horrible
@@KingAgniKai They don't consistently monitor you. They only listen when someone in the party reports you. So play with people you trust and you should be fine.

The reason im buying the xbox is because of gamepass and im more interested in xbox exclusives cause its more like games , while sony games are like movies, which make me bored, i dont play games for the story, i play them for the rpg element, shooting, and straight out fun, im not a fanboy, i had the ps4, i okly enjoyed spiderman,gow and last of us 1, all others were boring to me, this is just my preference,everyone is different.

I dont think Microsoft really cares about the console wars. They are trying to be the Netflix of gaming and i think they are in a pretty good position for that. This is a console war where there is no real competition in my opinion. Everyone is doing something diff. I personally as a PC player am interested to see how it goes.

For me im gonna start with Xbox because it’s cheaper, since I’m right now helping pay a lot of things in my house. Down the line when I get enough cash, i’ll get the Playstation. Love both brands and of course Nintendo always here.
Well you can say that PC and Xbox are the same entity, since most PC's run on Windows and Xbox tries to cater more to PC players by giving us games.
When a console gets better hardware we in the PC world typically also get better parts. Case in point the new 30 series is a massive leap. Unfortunately the drivers are not great so I won't buy them yet but the leap is incredible.

To be honest, the last time I was really excited was when the PS2 was being released. The Japanese games like Dead or Alive, Ridge Racer and Final Fantasy brought something unprecedented at the time. The internet hype was barely taking its structure back then and my only access to veritable info was through printed magazines and maybe some gaming websites that were barely beginning and there was no TH-cam. The later console generations had a lot of hype and not that much new to offer when it came to the wow factor and I'm afraid that even these days it's not getting better.
And even though the new consoles bring in more power, it will always be in the hands of the developers to give us something that we'll be truly excited about. If you are experiencing a feeling of wonder when it comes to the new consoles, I envy you.
Honestly, same. The PS2 and PS3 were the golden eras of video games. I remember my first time playing on the PS3 and going "This is so cool! No wires! And call of duty looks so realistic compared to PS2 games!"
Although games look great visually nowadays, they lack the fire that the older games had. It's just lazy and a rush for the $$$

@@bacjam6139 True, I get it, but Fable literally had the exact same amount of good games as Banjo(2)... and they were a lot more recent than Banjo. Both Banjo games came out for the N64, while the whole Fable Trilogy was on the 360, and Fable 2 came out the same year as games like Fallout 3, Battlefield Bad Company and World At War, which still have loyal players who won't shut up about them to this day.(I know, I'm one of them)
Technically Nuts and Bolts also came out that year, but if we count that then we also gotta count Fable 3 which is on the cusp of what we consider to be "modern" games... They even had fucking microtransactions.
I'm not saying _don't_ make Banjo-Threeie... I'm saying _don't mock Fable for being old in the same sentence you ask for a revival of a 22 year old series_

I’m honestly sad about the exclusivity on PS5, I want to play games like God Of War and Last of Us, but I am also not trusting of them, things like the new TOS of PlayStation Network pretty much insure I wont get a console from them.
PS5:
Pros:
Incredible games.
Cons:
Design looks odd to me.
100$ extra for a disc drive is stupid.
Their new Playstation network terms of service ensures I wont ever play on their consoles.
Too many exclusives, I want to play games like God Of War, the new FNAF when it releases (NOT 3 MONTHS AFTER), Last Of Us, The list goes on, but I don’t want to shell out a crap ton of money just to play those games.
Xbox:
Pros:
Incredibly user friendly console:
Fantastic deals like Game Pass Ultimate.
Less focus on exclusives.
Great memories.
Backwards and forwards compatibility, meaning you may never need a new console.
Cons:
Games from Xbox take forever to make, and sometimes are not great, take Minecraft Dungeons, you play through the game once, then again and again. Thats it. Thats the game.
DLC:
A few levels for around 10 dollars each, would be better as separate campaigns.
PC:
Can play most games with no real concern about exclusives.
Much higher library of games.
Can be customized to your liking.
Can be played with a controller or keyboard.
Online play without a service.
And many other reasons.
Cons of PC:
Its EXPENSIVE to make a great gaming PC, not even counting the monitor and other equipment.

@@Makar_The_Delver Yea, PC parts can be out of date, mostly involving graphics because they keep getting more and more heavy on hardware. I got a PC that was considered up-to-date a year ago and it could play just about every game flawlessly. Now I have to go to minimal graphics just to play Warzone with consistent framerates. Not to mention that the pc I got was $1000 and it's already behind what the PS4 and Xbox One can run fine.

I know everyone was talking about how the series x looked like a fridge, but I personally like the design better than the ps5 design. It's just smaller and more subtle, and really simple. The series s looks cool too.

I feel like both Sony as well as Microsoft have loads of exclusives coming and I imagine other than Miles Morales they will all release at similar times so it really just comes down to preference.
Console Wars are dumb and pointless. Each platform offers very good things. In terms of specs, the difference is barely noticeable. So it all comes down on what you prefer. Xbox has Halo and Gears Of War. Two franchises that I absolutely adore. So I will get a Series X because of them. Playstation has God Of War and Demon Souls, and thats why I''ll get a PS5 as well. Again, it all comes down to what you prefer. No console is better than the other, it is all subjective to your own personal preference.
What you cannot deny, is that Sony can spit in the mouth of their users and they will swallow without thinking. And that Xbox knows that, and thats why it is targetting a broader demographic with PC and Gamepass

Almost 20 years later and people are still putting Halo combat evolved music in their videos. Truly one of the greatest games ever made. I love and have played halo all my life and it makes me so happy that these games are not being forgotten no matter how old they become. I really hope Halo Infinite is good and the Halo franchise can reclaim the popularity that it had during the Bungie era of halo.

As much as it pains me to say this, I don't think the Bungie era will ever return. However, I'm pretty confident that Infinite will be by far 343's best Halo of their trilogy, and it will definitely be one of my favourite games of 2021. Just from hearing the scores that they've posted on the Halo channel gives me confidence. Just listen to "Reverie" and "Through the trees" and you'll see what I mean. Hail to the Chief.

They’re not recording you on PS4 but PS5 will have a feature that lets you record other people to report them and the PS5 will be able to play with PS4 so they made that update. I’m getting an Xbox for sure after this shit, I’ll never trust Sony, their security is garbage.

Honestly in the beginning when you said that a new console release marks a new era in your life, I actually felt that. When the 360 came out I was chillin as a kid in school growing up and playing games, when the One came out I was getting ready for after high school, and now with the Series X I’m moving out with my girlfriend and I can’t wait to see how it’s going to shake out.

Me too. As a little kid I had a DS. As a teen I had a PS3 (I still have my little boi) and now I'm almost 18 and have a PS4, Switch and will get a PS5 as soon as things clear up
