The whole "Völkerball" show is great. Its from 2005. The French crowds are always one of the best Rammstein crowds and the old Roman amphitheatre looks great

      I agree ^^ example lyon 2022 th-cam.com/users/shortsno9AiESetd8?feature=share
Edit : the arenas of Nîmes are 2000 years old, it is one of the best preserved coliseum in the world to the point of still being used ^^ and the Romans knew how to build for acoustics, it is a fantastic place for concerts. then it's more "intimate" than concerts in stadiums

@@juma2619 heh thats rather rare. You dont generally see a mosh pit at a Rammstein show. You pay more attention to the stage instead. Packed crowd though!

    Great reaction. ❤
So happy to see you doing on of my top 5 rammstein songs. I love how Till is telling the story with his whole body, the heavy instruments, no fire, just some steam and the lights are on point as always.
    This is a jewel!
    Much love from germany!

The lyrics are sick like hell no matter how you interpret them but the song is a masterpiece!

Hallo 👋 Thank you very much for another GREAT reaction to another AWESOME Rammstein performance at Völkerball 🥰💯💕🔥🤘🏼😍

  • @peekaboosue

I really liked all of yous interpretation to the song, which all can be right because
    Till Lindemann has said:
"To explain the lyrics would be to take away the whole attraction and afterwards perhaps the fans would even be disappointed. I would rather leave things in this area untouched so that everyone can bring their own interpretation and their own feeling to it."

Great reaction. This is a heavy song and quite a personal one for the band. Especially for Till. As you can see, he couldn't finish the song, he had to leave.
The song is about how is was growing up in the GDR for the guys. The story is told from the perspective of the dictatorial state, what the GDR was. Stone by stone they built the wall. Heavy surveillance of the Citizens. The outside garden are the western countries prospering again after the war.
This one of my favourite songs by Rammstein.
    With love from Germany🤘😎

Great song and performance but if you listen this live performance you can realise that the fallowing parts are playback: 4:22-4:33, 5:09-5-25, 6:36-until the singer leaves the stage. The stage leaving performance is maybe chosen because the studio version is ended with a "scream" (the lyrics is: Schreien) and maybe they did not want to sing this from a recording either.

I always cry when I hear the song. Till Lindemann knows the wall, that's why the song is so emotional. I know the wall too! it was a nightmare!

  • @tosa2522
    @tosa2522 ปีที่แล้ว +8

Finally you react to this song and Till's great performance.
The picture Till describes here is a metaphor and there are more possible interpretations.
It can be about life in the GDR and being locked up behind the iron curtain, or about a relationship in which the man takes full control of his partner's life and separates her from the outside world. Perhaps there are other interpretations as well.

    🧱STONE BY STONE 🏚️
    I have plans big plans
I'm going to build you a house
Every stone will be a tear
And you'll never move out again
Yes I'm going to build a little house for you
    With no windows no doors
    It'll be dark inside
No light will get in at all
Yes I'll make you a home
And you are to be a part of it all
Stone by Stone I wall you in
    Stone by Stone
    I'll always be with you
    Without clothes without shoes
    You watch me working
    With your feet in cement
    You brighten up the foundation
Outside there will be a garden
And no one will hear you scream
Stone by Stone I wall you in
    Stone by Stone
    I'll always be with you
    I'll always be with you
What a pounding what a hammering
Outside it starts to get dark
All of the nails stand at attention
When I ram them into your body-wood
    Stone!
Stone by Stone I wall you in
Stone by Stone I wall you in
Stone by Stone I wall you in
Stone by Stone and nobody will hear you scream

I agree with mama Suesue, that it's in reference to the Berlin Wall or growing up in the GDR in general, living behind a wall and being slowly cut off, stone by stone. At first it sounds like a good thing, "I will build you a house" then it just gets worse as reality sets in

a reminder to all people who think that walls change something: stone by stone of the wall song! great reaction from you I love you keep it up. i like your reactions. the song Stein um Stein is the most emotional song by Rammstein. it's about the german-german wall, it was built in 1963 and destroyed by the citizens in 1989 and every german was angry at this perverted wall. the song expresses hatred for the construction of the wall. We Germans are glad that this wall is gone! so many people have died needlessly! Walls are the worst. in Berlin there is a Wall Museum there is still a piece of the Wall as a reminder to posterity, I think everyone should take a look at it to get an impression of what people can do to people

Hallo van Suid Afrika. Afrikaans is a germanic language so it has many similarities with German and Dutch but also has Malay influences and our 'g' is mostly pronounced like in Arabic languages. We also roll our R's. Love the Rammstein reactions. Baie liefde en groete.

the song Reise Reise is actually the opening song and Stripped is the closing song 😍🥵🔥

Ohhhh! This is one of the best things I've seen/heard them do live, personally. It just grabs you and holds you.
I don't watch tv...but the " I concur" comes from The Wylde Side with Eric Clark.

do you do all the völkerball songs? What nostalgia for me this concert! the best of my life ^^!
a rammstein concert is to be done at least once in your life ❤❤
according to an interview with richard, the french were the first to adopt and understand rammstein abroad, and they like to come to france. (I don't know if it was to flatter our little "Gaulois” ego) their last 2 albums were recorded in a small town of less than 10,000 inhabitants in Provence, there are worse working conditions x)
their last album was number 1 in France, which remains a feat for a group singing in German, while their style of music isn’t mainstream.

I think the story is related to Edgar Allan Poe's the cask of amontillado
I was lucky enough to some them live in the same venue years later it was amazing
