How is it, coming from a JLF Sanwa? Any good? I heard it's a square-gate so is it like a JLF? Do you know any stick compatible with this lever? I heard the Hori Alpha isn't, which is a shame.
I've played on it for about a week now, I would actually argue it is probably the best lever money can buy right now. It's a relatively light but fast responding lever that is extremely easy and comfortable to use. It's not like the Fujin or the old Knee lever where it has a massive throw (travel between neutral and edge of the collar), and if you're coming from the typical circle collar of a Korean lever, you hardly notice the square gate, which I think is what makes diagonals really easy to hit. The only issue with it (which is easily remedied) is the awkward shape of the capsule top. I still find a battop easier to use on it. This is purely conjecture, but I think the feedback that went into making the NEO lever was specifically to address the massive range of movement in the old Knee lever, and *very* slightly tightening the spacing of the microswitches to create a smaller deadzone. It wasn't necessary to have the lever move that much between directions, so the square gate was added to limit the movement, and it is now more reasonable to use. As far as I know, it should fit in almost all sticks because of the shortened collar. I have not tried fitting it onto my Alpha, but given my old Golden Lever did, I don't see why it wouldn't.
@@RyuHousenThanks for your input. Seems like I've got a good lever, but unfortuantely I've seen a lot of people saying that it doesn't really fit into a traditional stick case without dremel, otherwise it scrapes the bottom. I'm so sad, I don't know what to do now. Obsidian 2 it doesn't fit, scrapes. Victrix same. Hori Alpha same... Seems like it's too big of a lever for anything. Obsidian 1 fits but it's not sold anywhere anymore. I've seen that you are on a cross up so that's even more specific... I just wanted a PS5/PC good quality stick with this lever, but now I'm only left with nothing.
@@CazaraceI had to go back to read this comment in preparation for getting a new stick that both works on PS5 and can fit the Knee NEO lever... I can confirm the Nacon Daija fits it, but you need to either shave the nubs next to the screw holes, or use a Golden Lever plate (in place of the plate that's already on the lever) to have it properly fit inside the Daija.
What arcade board/housing do you have?

What’s your verdict? 😎
Think I told someone already, but it's probably the best lever on the market rn tbh
