Monique is the problem. Everyone wants to blame Oprah/Tyler Perry/Lee Daniels/Steve Harvey and others based on what she says. There are two sides to a story and I feel there is a lot more to the story that what she is saying. I personally don't believe most of what she is saying now. She is proving herself by her behavior she is difficult to work with. I wouldn't hire her, you can see what she does when she doesn't get her way. My major problem with her is she seems to ONLY have problems with black people. When Roseann called a black woman monkey she took up for Roseann. I personally will never watch anything Monique has been in from past shows or any future shows. She needs to be cancelled.

The fact that she went out there on stage and didn't do a legit set, but used it as an opportunity to take shots at DL while DL came out and actually made light of the situation and did a REAL comedy show let's you FURTHER know why he was supposed to be the REAL headliner. 🤷🏽♂️

I get that she had an upset when Netflix didn't want to pay her the same as another female comedian but; DON'T contract or work with them; simple as that!! She took that and has been on a rant ever since. Now it's everybody's fault that she's not getting what she wants. But the recent issue she had regarding the contract had absolutely NOTHING to do with anybody else but her! It wasn't any of the comedians she's been talking about because SHE signed that contract and if she had a problem she could've talked to the producer, Don't sign the dang contract; or how about you could've had a face to face with DL if you were having problems with him (even though he didn't have anything to do with that contract). Thank you for speaking on this! I, too, was a fan PRIOR to this incident. D.L. Hughley's daughter had nothing to do with her being a headliner whatsoever-NOTHING. After this whole ordeal, it really made me side-eye her entire issues surrounding Netflix, Charlamagne Tha God, Steve Harvey and Lee Daniels/Oprah Winfrey. Mo'Nique seems to be the common denominator in all these scenarios regardless of what went down. Granted, I don't believe she is entirely at fault for each of these, but there is a pattern nonetheless. With that said, she had no business bringing up D.L.'s daughter and the trauma she endured from her sexual assault, and it only exposed the type of person she truly is. If she truly practiced what she preached, there would no need to bring up another black woman's trauma to further her own agenda. She lost ALL respect from me and many others.
Don't forget also publicly had beef with Will Packer, Adrienne Baillon, Sheryl Underwood, Kim Whitley, and Jawn Murray. I don't know how Wendy Williams managed to stay out of her crosshairs...Mo really needs to get rid of the husband and seek therapy. I have always had issues with supervisors and on the job...it FINALLY dawned on me that the ONE thing that ALLLLLLLL of the jobs have in common is NOT bad supervisors but ME. Once I let go of MY ego and MY inability to focus on the goal of getting that check...I finally started to perform WELL. MONIQUE is the problem...and SHE will ALWAYS have issues until SHE sees the reality of this fact. She is only a few years older than me so it is HUMBLING to have to look inward--I understand that...but drowning daily is exhausting. LET GO girl!

I agree with this video, but you got the story wrong. DL's daughter was 13 years old and was with a 13 year old male friend of hers that the whole family knew. Once DL's daughter was an adult, she told her father that the boy did something inappropriate, and DL told her daughter she might be misinterpreting it because he seemed like such a good kid. It's not the same as her saying that she was "violated" in real time and that DL decided no believe her because it was more convenient. That's not true.

Thank you for speaking on this! I, too, was a fan PRIOR to this incident. D.L. Hughley's daughter had nothing to do with her being a headliner whatsoever-NOTHING. After this whole ordeal, it really made me side-eye her entire issues surrounding Netflix, Charlamagne Tha God, Steve Harvey and Lee Daniels/Oprah Winfrey. Mo'Nique seems to be the common denominator in all these scenarios regardless of what went down. Granted, I don't believe she is entirely at fault for each of these, but there is a pattern nonetheless. With that said, she had no business bringing up D.L.'s daughter and the trauma she endured from her sexual assault, and it only exposed the type of person she truly is. If she truly practiced what she preached, there would no need to bring up another black woman's trauma to further her own agenda. She lost ALL respect from me and many others.
Don't forget also publicly had beef with Will Packer, Adrienne Baillon, Sheryl Underwood, Kim Whitley, and Jawn Murray. I don't know how Wendy Williams managed to stay out of her crosshairs...Mo really needs to get rid of the husband and seek therapy. I have always had issues with supervisors and on the job...it FINALLY dawned on me that the ONE thing that ALLLLLLLL of the jobs have in common is NOT bad supervisors but ME. Once I let go of MY ego and MY inability to focus on the goal of getting that check...I finally started to perform WELL. MONIQUE is the problem...and SHE will ALWAYS have issues until SHE sees the reality of this fact. She is only a few years older than me so it is HUMBLING to have to look inward--I understand that...but drowning daily is exhausting. LET GO girl!

DL's daughter was 13 years old and was with a 13 year old male friend of hers that the whole family knew. Once DL's daughter was an adult, she told her father that the boy did something inappropriate, and DL told her daughter she might be misinterpreting it because he seemed like such a good kid.
It's not the same as her saying that she was "violated" in real time and that DL decided no believe her because it was more convenient. That's not true.
