Text Behind Object Photoshop Tutorial

  • Here is a simply tutorial on how to place text behind objects in Photoshop. Create word text behind people, trees, leaves, and other objects. This Photoshop text effect adds depth and a 3d look to it. You can also add shadows to make it more realistic.

    Hi, Thank you for your video!! I tried to select other leaves and clicked fill but for some reason it wouldn't show. Maybe I did something wrong but I followed every step.

      Make sure you have the leaves photo layer selected. Then select the other layer, then click fill.

    Cool effect, but I cant seem to find this arrow you mentioned in the description in order to find this picture. Could you please help me?

      if you copy the link, you can look it up in google images instead of a direct webpage. so copy paste the link into the search bar and then the option below it says "google images". click that instead

    Hello Layer life, I used this to add a image on a hoodie and put it behind the draw strings. But can you tell me why when using the quick selection tool on the strings they dancing ants would connect from both strings or I could not select the string and it selected the whole hoodie?

      Hold the Alt Key on the keyboard then brush over the string to remove the selection on the string.
