Nah you're tripping if you think the last sandwich is a bad combo. All the flavours pair together and it has a mix of crunchy and soft texture. I would definitely eat that (although I probably wouldn't like the lobster)

@@KevinCruijssenQuuador not because of any specific sandwich but there's been a lot in the series with decent or good ratings that he dogged on. Plus he seems like he could put at least some of the ingredients to use since he's stated several times he's wanted to try them.

@@elijahh2220 Cheese is just milk that's gone so rotten that it started tasting good again. Imagining a plant-based chemical process that could imitate that already gross process is double-gross in our minds.
@@Tailstraw_xD Generally, instead of a process like cheesemaking, it's just a combination of fairly commonly used plant fats, starches, and seasonings that replicates the taste and texture of cheese. Non-frightening things like coconut oil and potato starch. There are exceptions that use cultures and aging, though they don't seem as popular IME. But I do understand that logic, and of course, this information wouldn't apply to someone's viewpoint when they don't _know_ what goes into it... so thanks for sharing this point of view!
Honestly, the last one is entirely dependent upon just how good of a lobster salad you can get from the store.

About that norwegian brand Brunost(brown cheese); Itrs extremely nice with strawberry jam underneath. Multiply how nice it is if you use warm waffles with sour cream, strawberry jam and brunost on top of that. I don't know anything that tastes better than that.
Extra bonus if you have some hot cocoa to go with it and its a snowy winter day.
Also for the record, the guy in the video sliced that brown cheese much thicker than you are supposed to, that cheese is strong so you want thin slices.
You should try it Flats, you will never regret it and you might start toying with the thought of moving there just for this.
Don't have much to say about norwegian foods, but this one they nailed.
Fun fact: This ham legally wouldn't be considered Black Forest Ham in germany and by extension the EU, not only because it most definitely wasn't made in the Black Forest (since it's a protected geographical indication), but also because the ham in the video is cooked ham whereas Black Forest Ham is supposed to be dry cured and smoked. It ought to be a translucent red with a white rim of fat.
That's in Germany, but this guy is from the US. The EU has no jurisdiction there, Americans can call it Black Forest ham as much as they want. That law is only present in EU countries.

For those that have not tried Violife vegan cheeses, give it a go. Might surprise you. Saw some people in the comments share this sentiment when Flats called it gross
It is absolutely the best none dairy cheese I’ve ever had. It’s super tasty. Plus if you can’t eat real cheese like me it’s the closest your gunna get to cheese, and I’d say it’s 90% there.
I’ve never tried it. I’ve given vegan cheese a try and only liked one brand. Definitely gotta look into violife now.

@@Chr0n0s38 Dairy allergy. I have a dairy allergy and love real cheese. I'm not vegan, I just can't have the real cheese anymore. VioLife is the closest thing to the real thing.

Violife vegan cheese is legitimately very good, though I think the smoked provolone he used is the worst of their offerings (the smoke flavor is a bit much, but it's still alright.) Their aged cheddar, feta, and parm are all top tier.
