Thing I love about this guy is you can tell he really loves food. Like he always has something positive to say about the potential flavor profiles of these monstrosities and tries to keep an open mind before actually tasting it. deer jerky has always been tubes (for me), a gas station near my dead grandmothers house sells them by the counter and broiled peanuts, regular and cajun style. its so good. i live in michigan the deer jerky tubes are everywhere

I'd say soy sauce is much better as a spice in cooking than as a condiment. Like, you can make some absolutely awesome sauces, soups, marinades and so on with soy sauce, but yeah, as far as sprinkling it onto a finished meal is concerned, there's better options.

Personally, I don't like soy sauce too much, but it is used in some food dish like fried rice or make other kinds of sauce so I can't complain too much about it. For steak sauce, why add sauce to a steak when steaks are supposed to be juicy?
