No one person should be required to carry all the financial burden of supporting a healthy family alone.

As a man who makes 6 figures, I’m not sponsoring an adult woman. Not because I’m selfish, unproductive, or lack masculinity, but because I don’t believe an adult should be idle. An idle mind is a Devil’s workshop. She doesn’t have to be a ceo, some other top tier exec or even making 6 figures but she has to have something going for herself. Also, it’s hard to build family wealth when you’re the only one laying bricks. Why is that this mindset is rampant in black culture but not other cultures that have or are building family wealth?

You are just smarter than most people. I do the same things and I put my family in a better finacial position. It's about winning and being finacially literate. This is why other cultures like the Asians are in first place now. They figured out a system to win and build legacy quicker. These topics are no longer about masculinity it actually about being smart or dumb.

Males raised by women embrace 50/50 because they grew up watching their mothers function as the provider. They also spent more time cooking and cleaning than playing contact sports or shooting sports.
The masculine competitive drive, the instincts towards dominance, are just not there.

I thought you was going to go into the history of the true 50 50 relationship, where the man worked outside and brought home all the money, and the woman worked her ass off in the home. In other words relationships have always been 50-50 all, both male and female, must pull their own weight in life.

Being a provider does not mean paying 100% of the bills. It means exactly how it sounds. You are providing. Providing includes leadership, guidance, structure, protection. The average man depending on where he lived in the country would have to make anywhere from 250k to 500k a year in order to sustain a middle-class lifestyle for a family of four by himself. If you look at the data for average income owners, you will notice the average man doesn’t make anywhere near that amount of money.
Providing also does not dictate masculinity.

Providing for those who truly respect it matters most. All the other stuff is mostly pride driven. Men have to surround themselves around real men that understand the role. Fellas don't get caught up today. Fellas like D here and others in the Lapeef N are solid dudes. D keep bringing what needs to discussed today. We talk amongst ourselves. Let the females get outta their own quicksand.

Great video to get the conversation started, but the @TheManicGenius is here to break it down beyond the surface layer - Cool video, but it’s actually “selfish” to be the type of provider you laid out. Caring more about validation from society and other men (EGO), rather than focusing on your family legacy and leaving the most for your children is SELFISH. Furthermore, putting more emphasis on how your peers view you over your family’s legacy is egotistical and selfish.
