I'm old dota player,played since beginning i guess, i can't keep up with the new one.. I just too used with their old sprite and skills, shortcut, etc.. We used to install small app called warkey to shortcut numlock for quick item use.. Ah good times.. 😁

Ngl, when I converted to the tru religion in college, I was in love with how much there was to screw with in Dota. How much in game itself. LoL was always so sterile. Like, there's so much fluff, but something as simple and beautiful as EarthShaker ult is nowhere to be found. Shame.

What I enjoy about dota is it's no SO team reliant like league has become IF YOU ARE better than everyone else in the game YOU WILL WIN THAT GAME, in league if you got 4 downies it don't matter if you go 20/1 you're not carrying.
there are actually a lot, even for some standalone characters in different patches. i currently have 40 hours of playtime in dota and I can say for myself that the game is fun when you find a character that suits you, even if you don't understand how the game works entirely. you can also play with people against bots to learn the most basic stuff (don't play the official tutorials, they suck at explaining the game)

Altough you get reported multipel times for nothing, in Dota nothing happens if you did nothing, while on league you can get banned even if you were never toxic. Especially with the new report system. For example my friend got banned a few days ago for typing "SS PYKE" in chat wtf

Used to play dota 2 and league for a long time and sincerely thought, that dota community is the worst part of game and it's anchor, Kinda reconsidered this a year ago, when got permabanned in LoL for toxicity for shit much less then on video. So yeah, this part of the game in dota better and funnier at least (still think Lol > Dota as a game)

When Dota 2 after 12 years still more like map for WC3, even if the best one (played original DoTa for a 1.5 year). For example - stupid probabilites (not only crits, but many spells and passives), that affect the game too much stull in game. It's more chaotic (but slower then LoL though). It's if I dont talk about obvious things like meta-changing rhytm, updates and so on
