I'm very intrigued with the Zhong Yuan in the SFX PSU. You might not mention it as top 3 but it's actually quite up there at the top on some stats on the charts. Is it a simple embargo matter or does something blow up there? 😂 Can't wait to see the full video if you eventually going to cover it.

Sent back Montech century 850W G5, couldn't find any info on the OEM maker. Decided to save up a bit more after your video even though it is for a budget Ryzen 5 5600G PC.
Montech is a decent brand with future ahead, if they play their cards right (its people).

We have some THOR psus from Asus here in stores with discounts... Ex: ROG THOR PLATINUM II 1200w ... how are they?
i'm also looking at the Thor ones because if you check the database they seem that they're of the quitest psu's out there. also sleeved cables included. 😉
Asus didn't send me yet the updated Thor, ATX v3.x models. We only beta tested them so I cannot share any results till I get proper MP samples.

If you test a specific model how many samples you have and how many times you measure the same thing?
Let's say the inrush current is based on the average of multiple measurements of multiple units?
two samples minimum, 5-10 measurements per sample in inrush current. If something is out of order we ask for many samples. Also we DO NOT mix results, EVER.
Why not include Corsair ax 1600?

From whom you saw these negative reviews? This PSU was fine in my testing.
Anyway if you don't want to go with the RMe, there are plenty of choices in the 1000W section.

Corsair still has the best performing PSU, the AX1600i, which is not ATX v3.x though, and this is why I didn't include it in this video. Still, Corsair provides 12V-2x6 cables for it and it doesn't have a problem handling any GPU
