Had a friend who was a pathological liar. His behaviour of lying became so bad, he unnecessarily lied about trivial things.
I have a sister like that. I don’t understand lying about everything for absolutely no reason at all.
Its an insecurity behavior. They're afraid to give a truth because it could be used against them somehow (in their mind), such as receiving punishment or being ashamed. To avoid that their reaction is to lie. And then it just becomes behavioral.

been "studying" Phil since early 2010 when i was looking for a heavy rain playthough. Glad i kept up with him because his story is VERY interesting and he is the sample of how to NOT be on the internet.
First I heard of him was that Down the Rabbit Hole thing and I guess I'm still interested 😂

His Heavy Rain playthrough had some legit classic moments but his "true self" came out over the years and he let money go to his brain and inflate his ego to where he lives in his own world now. Sad thing is, the people that donate to him perpetrate his abrasive attitude every day.

This is true. Back then, there were very few lets players that actually post gaming content daily. At that time I believe there was only seamus (SSOHPKC) who actually did the same thing he did. Most gaming channels back then were either the cod/halo guys, or the shoutcasters for sc2 (day9, tb, and huskey).
Phil has always liked being a dinosaur. He's from a bunch of tubers that believe that being "honest" of how their lives are is the thing. First problem is that no one wants to hear that real life bullshit that you're going through, and second of all, Phil is lying out of his ass most of the time.
He should be a sample of how you shouldn't act as a person, not just on the internet.
