After the last few episodes I really appreciate the low key minimalist use of music in this one. Thanks soo much. Great company, thanks for taking the time to share the visit.

I like John’s final thoughts with him talking over the montage of clips. That was a really great touch.

I am just down the street. Good to see this level of flow control and how it reduces stress and panic.

The company I work for does similar things with lean and kanbans and it's not executed nearly as well so I was always critical but this shows me properly executed this system works

Lean Manufacturing really is the future growth of enterprising businesses and those who do not use it to some degree will always be playing catch up.
The companies / businesses who use Lean Manufacturing as part of there growth will have a better understanding a work structure than those who do not.
There is a saying that i strongly believe in, Work Smart, Not Hard.
You will know with in a short time if you walk into a business that makes good use of Lean Manufacturing as part there business model.
Very good to see up and coming businesses making use of Lean Manufacturing.

Talking about having tools set up without probes.
We use the machine coordinates as G54. We setup our tool offsets on center-line of our 4th axis in the program that generates our G Code. No need for a probe.

when you mentioned inventory running smooth just keep it going and over producing. that balance can be defined as a high limit and a High High limit for inventory. counting by weight can help too with small parts. in this scenario a high high CANNOT be exceeded it would be considered overfilling a fuel tank and its pouring on the ground. high is just FULL

How’s the makers choice going? I’ve been on both lists and haven’t even been given a sniff. Was hoping with all the upgrades to the shop and move to “LEAN Construction/Manufacturing “ the Norseman and Rask would be more available. Oh well, patience is a virtue I guess

"LEAN" I honesty hate that word . I work for a company that practices "Lean" they make it very difficult to do the job given with minimal support an tooling an they considerate lean. What a joke
